It is really difficult to get the room cleaned. If you leave the "Please clean my room" marker on the door, the cleaning staff just flips it around to the "Do not disturb" side and leaves your room uncleaned.

The check-in didn't go well. The machine couldn't find my reservation, I got a card and room number but no information on which floor is the room. The room wasn't clean during my stay. There is no option to have tea in the evening.

Appreciate that due to the lack of staff some extra info may be confusing as people say but just call the help number they are ready to assist. We called about the parking and they explained it all without issue.

Location is excellent. We had no issues with the self check in. Easy to find and easy to check in. Design of rooms is a little style over substance but the room was clean and the views excellent. We also LOVED the breakfast here. Served by the bakery on the entrance level (level 3). This bakery is well known in Umea and has amazing bread. The options were vast and the bakery staff kept everything replenished. Great to have this included. Excellent value for money overall.

Size of the room is really tiny. It's not possible to open the window, they have own air conditioning system, which was hard to tune as I would like to have, sometimes it was to fresh in the room for me, but not critical. Unsual location of sink - near bed, not in bathroom. As the bed located just before the window - which most likely will have great scenes outside - TV is located not before your head. So if you will want to watch it, it could be not very comfortable for you head.

Excellent location in the heart of the city, all you need just 5 mins walk around. Friendly staff. Convenient self check-in system. Room was clean, good sound proof. Stylish room interior. Comfy bed. Decent breakfast at the bakery (same build as hotel): eggs, meat, cheese, vegetables, fruit, desserts, few vegan options, additionally, I extremely liked the apple juice! There is another hotel in this build, the owner is same for two hotels, at the reception of second hotel (Stora Hotellet) it's possible to rent a bike for free. If you will have room at the highest floors, you will have very beautiful city view!

The sink should be in the bathroom, the lighting should be better as there are a lot of dark colors in the styling of the room. There was too little space to set down your stuff and hang up your clothes.

The bed was superb. The view was amazing. The breakfast was delicious, especially the freshly baked bread and the ham was yummie.
