Some dust in the corners and noise from the street but it is expected since the hotel is located in the center of the city.

The room was very cozy with enough space and appliances. The bathroom was very spacious and clean.

Nothing to dislike, everything was great!

Perfect location, city center. Despite that it is located in city center, nights were very quiet. Good breakfast, nice staff. And everything was super clean. Beds were very comfortable. Also a big plus-We arrived after check in time past 21:00, we received the door code to enter the hotel and on the counter was an envelope with our name on it, with room keys. Everything was easy to find and understand. Definitely suggesting this place

Excellent service, warm and welcoming atmosphere and very polite and professional personnel. Everyone was more than willing to help. We were pleased to meet Angela, who worked the days we stayed in the hotel and was a very efficient, calm, and administratively qualified staff member at the facility. The room we got was a bit too small but doable if you need it only to sleep in. Personally, I think the water in the shower could be a bit hotter but other than that, I had no negative observation.

The hotel is located in the very centre of Gothenburg which is definitely of a big value. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast consists of various options (sweet, savoury). Very comfortable, very soft bed.

Would have been nice with cappucino or caffe latte coffee for breakfast and more choice of fresh fruits (only thin slices of orange available).

Charming smaller hotel right in the centre of Gothenburg close to central station, shops and restaurants. Very friendly and serviceminded staff. Would like to stay there again!

No lift and a circular staircase made carrying heavy luggage to 2nd floor rooms very hard. noise from building work outside (not in control of the hotel), would have liked to have been warned before arrival. Very noisy from 07:30/8:00

As a sleep expert by day, I did notice a dripping sound coming from the heater or the in-room fridge. I was OK with it but others may find it distracting.

Great location between Gothenburg Central Station and the city centre. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I didn't get to try the breakfast. Room was very clean and roomy, and I was surprised to see that the cleaning staff cleaned and put away my dirty dishes when I was at work during the day - (tack så mycket!). As a sleep expert by day, I can say that the bed, linen and pillows were very comfortable. The kitchenette had the right amount of cutlery and utensils.

No teaspoons in tea/coffee preparation set - that seemed strange. Standard breakfast - I was hoping for some local specialties (like some type of fish? Maybe cottage cheese? Anything at all to make southern Sweden breakfast instead of boring basics).

Room was very clean and warm (important because I was travelling in cold and rainy conditions). In the bathroom were separate floor heating and heated towel rack - all of those options adjustable according to individual needs!! The mattress was especially comfortable:)

I got woken up by the sound of street work. Which always is irritating but nothing the hotel can do anything about. Otherwise it was very calm in the hotel corridors etc.

It's a very good place in regard to cost/value. It's very cheap and still the location is perfect, right in the city center. Clean, big room, the hotel is cosy in an old building, it has soul. Nice breakfast. Nice friendly staff also.

There was no elevator and we had a lot of luggage which resulted in several walks up the stairs with heavy bags and suitcases. There are also stairs at the entrance of the hotel. At breakfast, there were no chicken or vegetarian options for meat and sausages. Only pork. Also, not really worth mentioning, but the playlist consisted of pop songs from a decade or longer back, felt a bit out of place :)

We were actually desperately looking for a hotel very last minute, and were surprised by hotel Vanilla. Its overall atmosphere is really warm and cozy. I think we had one of the smaller rooms but it was still very well decorated and felt luxurious. The bed was amazing and the bathroom really nice with a heated floor. The included breakfast was really good and we were able to check in earlier than stated. Of course the location may be the best aspect as it is right in the middle of the city centre in a quiet street. The hotel is really nicely decorated. I don’t think the pictures on here do it justice.

Reception staff didn’t said much when we checked in. We had to ask additionally about where the breakfast is served, do we have a place where we can leave our luggage, and no one told us about the lounge area on the first floor where you can play board games. Also, when we checked out, we left our room key cards on the reception, and the guy just told us “bye”. Nothing about how was your stay, have a safe trip, and other questions reception staff usually asks during check out.

The location is definitely the biggest plus of the hotel. The room was clean, spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Since we were here only for one night, we can’t rate food options and different breakfast choices every day, but for that one morning, we had nice breakfast and various choice.
