Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

United KingdomThe location was less central, but once we worked our way around it became easier. The air conditioning unit wasn't that cold and our room was very hot - it would have been helpful to leave the A/C on whilst we were out for the day. Bed quite hard so wasn't that comfy. No natural lighting on the lower part of the room.
The most beautiful, off the beaten track guest house to stay in. Very well designed, lovely interior and authentic. Breakfast was amazing. Hosts were very kind and helpful! The area was completely local and no other tourists really apart from ourselves and others staying here - quite an experience.

Delicious fresh breakfast with a combination of beautifully presented Thai and other foods. This is a completely renovated traditional Thai house, the design is wonderful and finished to a very high standard. Yakie and her team are lovely, kind and helpful. 100% recommend.

Hong KongI wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for the incredible experience I had. It was truly exceptional in every way. We were there to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary and from the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure that I felt welcomed and valued. Their professionalism, friendliness, and attentiveness made me feel right at home. The view from my room was absolutely breathtaking. Waking up to such a stunning sight each morning was a true delight and added an extra layer of enjoyment to my stay, Special mention to Yakie, It was a pleasure to talk to her. She ensured that all our dietary requirements are met and always welcome to accommodate our request with a biggest smile!. Her warmth and hospitality made my experience even more memorable. I can confidently say that I will definitely be returning to Siamotif in the future. My stay was nothing short of perfect, and I cannot wait to create more wonderful memories during my next visit. Once again, thank you for providing such a fantastic experience. Please extend my sincere appreciation to your entire team for their hard work and dedication. Lots of Love! Priya & Chhabil Sidhu

United States of AmericaThe smaller rooms are darker because one has to open windows to get light, but I am afraid of mosquito bites (especially being near water). But there are nice areas to sit at, including a rooftop spot. If you are looking to be in the room a lot, consider the larger rooms.
I almost don't want to reveal too much because this place is such a gem. Gorgeous quiet surroundings, away from tourists, and lots of history. I liked that it was small, felt private, and excellent service.

United KingdomAll the spaces are lovely and the location by the canal is amazing. There are plants everywhere and the building is all wooden and beautiful with a lot of open space. We stayed in 2 different rooms and both were great for their value. The charcoal room especially has a small balcony overlooking the canal which is great. The breakfast is also excellent, it's all freshly prepared by the staff and has a good mix of western and Thai food. The highlight for us was everyone working at Siamotif. They were lovely and so nice and polite which made a great first impression on us about Thai hospitality.

CanadaIt could be a bit noisy, but I didn’t find it disruptive.
Siamotif was an oasis in the middle of such a bustling city. The rooms were very welcoming and clean. The beds were comfortable. Yakie was an amazing , kind , and helpful host and she cooked one of the best dishes we tried in Thailand. All of the staff were lovely and helpful.

AustraliaNothing! Everything was wonderful.
If there was a Michelin star for boutique hotels Siamotif should get one, especially they’re incredibly caring team that run the hotel. Very serene city oasis, only a short MRT ride from the city centre. From the station to the hotel is a nice walk through the local neighbourhood, I felt like I saw a side of Bangkok most tourists don’t see.

HungaryWhen we decided to come to Bangkok, our friends told us that we should only look for five star hotels. Maybe Siamotif isn’t a five stars hotel but it more than makes up for it. The interior design is unique, a very nice, eclectic mix of tradition Thai and modern architecture elements. Every detail is perfect. By not being in the City, you get to know an other side of Bangkok as well. It was very nice to leave behind the chaos of a metropolis every night and get to this peaceful neighbourhood. And the staff is so kind and helpful❣️we loved to be there!

United KingdomAs it’s in a local neighbourhood and next to the river, and close to a road and the train line it was noisy at night. But bring ear plugs and you’ll be fine.
We moved out of the downtown area of Bangkok to stay here for a few nights and after initially thinking it was a bit far out I’m really glad we did. It is situated in a really local neighbourhood, tucked down a small alleyway and right next to the river. It is an absolutely beautiful wooden house with a great sense of interior decoration. Our ‘porcelin’ room was gorgeous, two rooms in one basically with a balcony over the river and lots of space. The hosts and staff were so friendly and sat with us one night talking about their cats and enjoying speaking English with us. And the breakfast they provided was gorgeous too. The dinner we had one night was also delicious and well worth trying. The property is a 2 min walk the the MRT station and so is very convenient for getting up to chatachat market or down to all the major areas (with a change or 2). I thought the transport system in Bangkok was superb, cheap, clean, fast and easy to understand so we didn’t take a taxi anywhere. All in all a fantastic experience and something different to the standard hotels

This is prettiness on another level, the the true definition of boutique. Not many rooms, you only see a few other guests during breakfast (if you’re lucky) This is another side of Bangkok, not the metropolitan skyscrapers, but authentic beauty and charm. Yakie and her team made my first time Bangkok warm and welcoming while Bangkok can be a bit overwhelming this place makes me want to come back already.

Charcoal is the best room. Huge and lovely Thai house room. Great shower. Right on the water. Stunning little place. Staff amazing. Home cooked food just great. We live in BKK so can say with confidence how good the food was 😅. This is the sort of place that shows why you don't filter out 3 star hotels on Booking.com. A fantastic staycation on the canal. Nearby is Na Vayla Paplern. A fab vegan place. I'm a big meat eater and the food was great. Siam Motif is just 10 mins walk from Bang Khun Non MRT station. Very easy walk. Siam Motif is tucked out of the way. If you are allergic to cats then there are 3 friendly cats there. I could barely get up from my beanbag because Mark liked to sit there lol.
