Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

NetherlandsI absolutely loved my stay at the Zen Master Hotel. I had initially planned to stay at this hotel for a week. I ended up staying for more than 20 days! First off, let me state that the hotel excels in everything most important to me: good hygiene, lovely staff, good WiFi (100mbps+), good location, and amazing vibes. I was able to have plenty of work meetings both in my room, in the cafe, and on the rooftop. Being a family-owned hotel adds a personal touch that made my stay even more special. The attentiveness and warmth of the staff made me feel at home. The hotel owner was incredibly helpful during my stay, from suggesting places to visit to making calls and appointments for me, and even speaking to the doctor when I had to make an unexpected visit to the hospital. I can't wait to return and would recommend it to anyone, whether looking for a one-day stop or a home away from home in Bangkok.

KazakhstanThe hotel is absolutely new, conveniently located with attention to details such as outlets, switches, and lighting, boasting new furniture, air conditioning, a safe, all styled tastefully and with flair, including even the floor tiling. The plumbing is top-notch, and both the room and the bathroom and shower smell pleasant, highlighting an attention to detail that elevates it to perhaps even a boutique hotel level. The hotel owners are very pleasant people who assisted me in moving to a larger room without requesting additional payment. There's also a cafe downstairs with excellent specialty coffee. The location is superb, and the price-quality ratio is 100% on point. I will definitely stay at this hotel again on my next visit. Coupled with my earlier experience of the staff being simply wonderful, attentive to requests, and very caring, my stay was nothing short of excellent.

Beautiful design, super clean and comfortable. Loved the shower and the mattress was very comfortable. Soaps and shampoo smell delicious and are of 5 star quality. The staff were all very lovely - the owners, the receptionist Ms. Dolly and the girls running the cafe - they all did their best to make sure you have a great stay. Furthermore they have a great rooftop with nice views and a nice little garden to read or have your morning coffee. Also very convenient, they have their own laundry shop next door with brand new washing machines and dryers.

IndiaIt’s far away from most places, it says sukhmvit but it’s too far. The sheets weren’t changed during my 5 day stay. I often came back to hair in my bed showing the bed wasn’t made properly and no attention to detail whilst cleaning. I wish the owners would keep more information about the tourists attractions and how to get to it or any information as such. All we got was a we don’t know answer! Didn’t get any breakfast despite the charges of the room and felt no warmth as such from the staff.
It is new and facilities are clean!
