The room was a little small and the bath could be updated.

Comfortable room and bed. Nice staff and excellent location, close to the bazaar and Hagia Sophia, blue mosque and basillica cistern. Lots of restaurants nearby.

Just a hint of insecurity for luggage left in the hotel’s care for a few hours after check out. I made sure mine was in the luggage room, but every day when we walked through the lobby there were unsupervised bags outside the locked room that could have been taken in a heartbeat.

Great location near Sultanahmet Square. Lots of places to eat right on your doorstep and very close to a tram stop. But being off the main road it was nevertheless quiet and peaceful. There was a kettle in the room for tea and coffee which is always a bonus.

sound isolation of the rooms are a bit hearable sometimes you can hear complete conversations or showering/toilet sounds. it's not too bad though i've heard worser but still for a 5 star hotel this shouldn't happen... i do feel more that this hotel is a 4-star hotel instead of a 5-star hotel. but if you're a light sleeper definitely bring some ear plugs The Airconditioning acted kind of weird...it didn't matter what i pressed but the temperature was always warm even when i bumped it to 18 degrees. so after fiddling a while we read the sign that in the winter they always set it to heating and in the summer to cold...but yeah i didn't want to spend too much time on this so we just de-activated the Airconditioning as the room was super hot. The hotel is swarmed by tourist trap restaurants. if you come from europe the prices are around 600-700 TL which comes down to € 20 euro per dish. (these are definitely european prices). normal dishes should be around 200-300 or so not more than that. if you're fine with paying then it's your choice to do it. be wary that these restaurants always have like 2-3 people standing outside trying to reel you in...don't give in and fall for those type of restaurants (you can certainly eat one of these restaurants for one night) but my golden tip is to go the area where Grand Bazaar is or Galata (which is a bit further but so much more bang for your buck). you can eat multiple things buffet style and try most of the Turkish cuisine without having to blast through your wallet.

room was big enough for suitcases and it has a chair and poof so you can sit when you're playing with your laptop or phone. can't say much about breakfast as we didn't go for that option (we just ate outside) but the location of this hotel is really close to everything (everything is in walking distance from blue mosque, hagia sophia, basilica cistern, topkapi) you can pretty much do all of these in one day if you're quick but definitely do-able in 2 days. if your main goal is to go to these tourist attractions then by all means this hotel is really good! Room has everything waterboiler, coffee, tea, the standard soap, shampoo, showergel 2 x clean towels, 2 x face towels, 2 x slippers

Lack of communication between reservations dept. and the reception desk - updates on the changes of the booking were not given to the reception desk; Breakfast quality is OK, but overpriced; Stray cats were strolling at the restaurant during breakfast 🐈; The picture on the booking app gives the impression there is a a square with huge open space at the entrance of the hotel, which is misleading, as it’s located on a tiny one-direction-no-exit street.

The location; Good value for money
