Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United StatesCable and WiFi were both out and no discount was offered, the AC unit made the room either freezing cold or we were sweating, there was no in between, one of the bedside table drawer fronts was broken off so everything all together made the room feel a little rundown.

United KingdomWould I stay at the Tuscany Hotel again? Short answer is “no”. Long answer…. The hotel is by no means the cheapest, and it feels like the location is used to justify the price. However it fails on many levels outside of location. I believe that it was refurbished in 2023? However the furniture looks tired. Even the main public areas don’t look great. Our room had what I would estimate was a 6 ft mirror just leaning against the wall - not secured in any way. I could imagine a parent being concerned if they had children in the room that this could easily fall if knocked by accident. On check-in, there was a printed sign on the reception desk stating there was no TV, no phone and no WiFi service. It further stated that there was no timeline for them to be resumed. Needless to say, they were not working for our entire visit. A quick look at recent reviews suggests this has been the case for a few weeks. I recalled from previous reviews that other guests had issues with insufficient towels, so this was checked as soon as we entered the room. Although the booking was for a room with two occupants, there was only one towel in the bathroom. One very small towel! I’m a medium waist and this towel barely made it around!! So I went back to reception (couldn’t call, as no phone service!) and was told it would be 11pm before someone would be available to bring a towel (it was 10pm at that point). We’d been travelling all day from the UK, and just needed to sleep, but was told we could get a towel after 8am from room service. Note - we were expected to go find whomever was carrying out the room service in the morning to ask for a towel, one wasn’t being sent to us!! So we made do with the one very small towel on the first morning. After a day out, had to ask again for a second towel as room service only left one. On the next (and final ) day, again had to ask for a second towel as the room service only left one!!
Generously sized room in a central location. Bed was large and comfortable, and although the bathroom was small (no bath, but decent sized shower) the shower itself was amazing.

BelgiumUpon arrival, we were informed the room we booked and had paid for months in advance was no longer available without having communicated this prior to our arrival, resulting in one family member needing to sleep on a stiff sofa bed for a week. A small discount was offered, but had to chase this over email with a manager during our stay. There's little to no amenities; no shower gel, no basics like a kettle or bottled water in the room, and no coffee machine anywhere in the building. Had to ask for toilet paper. The property seems to be rather worn down and could do with a facelift - constant draught from the windows, so would not recommend this stay during winter.
Location is excellent, friendly staff and plush pillows.

Location was incredible and room was very nice. Only a few minutes walk to subways. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

Telephone in the room,but it was not possible to call to reception by the telephone on the table.Every time had to walk to reception if something to ask. We came 10 PM in the hotel (2+3 persons) and the extrabed was not ready in the triple-room when we arrived. Lady in the reception said that it may take 1 hour before housekeeping come to make the extrabed ready.We were tired after travelling 16 hours and the room was not ready for us at 10 PM!Finally I asked to get bedlinen so that I can make the bed by myself.I got the sheets,but not a blanket.Our daughter was shivering the whole night without a blanket.We got the blanket next day. We were 3 persons in the triple-room and every day there was only 2 big towels for us.Every day during our 6 days holiday we had to go to reception to get one more big towel. Our son was in a doubleroom with his girlfriend and they had always only 1 big towel for 2 persons in their double-room.....He also went to reception every day to get a big towel. The manager of the hotel has promised us a refund ,let us see if it is going to happen.....

United StatesThe windows in our room had a gap between the upper and lower panes, which let in a lot of street noise and cold air. Luckily it's spring, so the air wasn't freezing, and we just turned the heat up a little to compensate.
Location was very convenient to grand central - quick and easy three block walk to access trains and subway. Room was very spacious for NYC, plenty of room to spread out and open suitcases. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean and nicely appointed.

I have stayed in countless hotels in New York and this was the first time i have experienced no toiletries of any description and a single toilet roll. Not normally an issue but when you have flown and arrived by train then have to hunt for a store to buy a bar of soap it was a little disappointing. Not only this but there wasn't even a glass or cup of any kind let alone a bottle of water or drinks facilities.

In room description was written that the room has kitchenet and washing machine - didn't have any of these unfortunatelly. WIFI connectin horrible.
