The room was spacious, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the beds were the comfiest I've ever slept in! I 100% recommend this place to visitors to NYC. The location is in a quieter part of town but it's great if you want to escape the crowds of Times Square.

Very helpful staff. Clean and elegant room, modern bathroom with excellent water pressure. Nice toiletries.

The location was excellent, especially with the subway station just steps away. There were lots of eateries which made it convenient to grab a quick snack. I appreciated having lots of great coffee shops nearby too! The room was comfortable and I loved the pillows. It was also spacious, by Manhattan standards. The concierge was warm, attentive and provided great service.

They are NY sized rooms so good for a solo traveler but would be tight for 2.

The elevators are a bit slow and the hallway in general is small so it can feel a bit claustrophobic.

The hotel is in a great location if you're looking to explore lower Manhattan. It's clean and provides all the amenities you would need for a short term stay. I highly recommend it.

There isn’t anything wrong necessarily, but it would have been nice if the rooftop restaurant were available for breakfast. It’s definitely more of a club-like scene up there, so when we tried to go for a quiet nightcap, it was a little loud for us. Not a bad thing, just a preference!

The location can’t be beat. We loved that the hotel was right across the street from the Fulton Center subway stop, which made getting around the city super convenient. We also really appreciated the gym and daily refresher of water and Nespresso! The staff is really lovely and made our stay very comfortable. Super clean as well!

Great boutique hotel in the financial district really close to the world trade centre, Southsea seaport and battery park. All the underground lines converge here so it’s easy to get to any of manhattan. The new roof top bar it a great new addition and not so well known that it is not crowded.

To my surprise, the receptionist told me my room isn't ready, although I booked the previous night just to make sure my room will be ready when I arrive in the morning. I even got a message via Booking.com from the hotel that the room will be ready when I arrive and all is well. After mentioning that to the receptionist, it took her a while to realize I was right, and that my room is ready.

Excellent overall. Clean, pretty, comfortable, good location.

Great location Downton, close to a number of subway stations. The bed was huge and exceptionally comfortable. Despite the room being on the small side it was more than adequate for our needs and had everything we would have wanted. Staff were lovely, couldn’t have asked for more. We would not hesitate to return to the Artezen when visiting New York in future

The location is excellent. One minute walk to Fulton St subway which connects you to pretty much everywhere. Plenty of places to eat around the hotel and most importantly the hotel itself was perfect place to retreat to after day sightseeing. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and a special call-out to Daniel the concierge.
