Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaNo ceiling fans. Window air units couldn’t completely cool space, but were from the desert and more sensitive to the humidity. Kitchen utensils & glasses were a bit sparse.
The staff was amazing and location was great. Easy to get in and out of. The size and layout of the units is great and unique for Manhattan. Nice and quiet.

United KingdomThe building and our room looked tired and dated. Could do with a complete refurbishment. This also applies to the furniture on the roof terrace. There was a lot of noise from air extraction equipment, etc, situated on the roof and also an incredibly noisy fridge freezer. There is reduced daylight in the apartment due to the surrounding towers. At the time of our stay there seemed to be a lot of building work in the immediate vicinty.
Very friendly staff. We had Pentouse Apartment B which was a good size and had access to a roof terrace. The building is conveniently located to midtown and Central Park. Subway station close by and only 2 blocks to good supermarket.

CyprusWould be nice to have one more bathroom or toilet at least. Usually when i rent an apartment, not a hotel room, i expect a washing machine there. But it wasn't presented. Absolutely awful windows - no sound isolation at all - you sleep like on the street. That's quite terrible for the center of NYC. Breakfast is very minimalistic, lot's of bakery and non-healthy food, but no one vegetable or greens. And the location is quite far from everything interesting. More than 20 mins walk to Times Square, Central park etc.
Pretty much space, large beds, nice kitchen. In general it's okay to stay for 4-5 people.

United States of AmericaParking is not included. You pay an extra 40$ per day for a parking lot close by with no in-out privileges. It's clearly stated in the description, and we knew about it before coming there. The appliances in the room are outdated: The television didn't work very well, the dishwasher was very old and not working very well, and the safebox ran out of battery during our stay, but the staff wasn't able to replace the batteries over the weekend.
It is a very nice hotel in a great location. We stayed there as a family with little kids, and the suite had everything we needed: A kitchen with all the cookware, oven, stovetop, refrigerator, dishwasher, and a coffee machine. The beds were comfortable, and it was fairly quiet (it's still the center of New York City, so don't expect it to be absolutely noise-free). The living room was spacious, with a nice sitting area and dining table. The bathroom was clean, and there was a large safebox in the room. The breakfast is nice. The proximity to Times Square is really nice.

AustraliaWe asked for a topper for sofa bed which make it more comfortable. It would be a little hard for full size adults
Location pretty good. Good amount of cupboard space, full kitchen, large dining table and spacious lounge with sofa bed. Separate bedroom with large bed. Good size bathroom. Breakfast was adequate and a bonus to start the day. Was about a 10 minute walk to Time Square and 3 to 5 mins to subway

United States of AmericaThe 6 person suite is a fantastic option for a group that size to stay somewhere central in midtown. It's just a couple minutes walk from the 6, so you can get everywhere in Manhattan very easily. The suite is huge with great beds, great kitchen, etc. Honestly if it wasn't such a short trip we would've spent more time relaxing in the suite.

United States of AmericaThe water pressure in the shower was a bit disappointing. Also there is a feature when you turn off the light in one the living room, the power outlets i none of the walls are also turned off which was a bit uncomfortable
The breakfast was good, a little basic but it does the job. The location is great, close to all the midtown attractions but still a bit far off from the really busy streets. The staff was helpful and attentive.
