Boris is a great host, who not only makes absolutely beautiful portraits but also helps you out during your entire stay. A classically trained artist + personal guide. What is not to like? The place is nice as well, quite spacious and located pretty close to the subway. A great spot to explore NYC from.

The flat had a great location, 2 main subway lines nearby. Supermarket and laundry in 100m. The kitchen is well equipped. The bedroom with bathroom is big enough as it has it's own wardrobe and terrace. Boris was an excellent host, helped us with tips on where to eat, how to get to Manhattan the easiest way. We had a great breakfast together and he drawn our portrait on his tablet. Great artist, nice person!

1. The host is sensitive to the room temperature.(max 70'F) so ask Boris for an extra blanket if you feel cold. 2. You have to behave to the host if not, I do not recommend you. 3. The neighborhood looks safe on day(Jews legion), but kind of scary at night. 4. It doesn't mension but you have to pay extra 50 dollars when you check-in on weekends. 5. 환꾺싸뢈위면 쌋좡님 옂짜 빩켱용 껏쁠은 깠찌뫄용.

Great stay - the apartment is clean and organized - close to prospect park. Boris is a great host - offered to do a portrait and has many art displayed at his home. Overall, would recommend! As a solo traveler, I also felt pretty safe staying in the area!

Convenient location for my visits around Prospwct Park and the Brooklyn Museum. The host, Boris, is very friendly and I enjoyed meeting him. The apartment is on a calm street and has easy access (third floor walk-up).

Nothing really.

I had the sofa wich at night was my bed. This worked out pretty well, I didn't get disturbed by the other guests. I slept verry well and could relax there in the evening hours. There is a kitchen and in general alot of space, certainly for New York. The host wasn't there when I checked in, self check in information was profided, this was clear and verry easy. It is a 600 meters walk to the nearest subway station, then a under 30 min ride to lower Manhatten. Also a good place to check out some Brooklyn spots. The neighbourhood is lively and safe.

We recently had the pleasure of staying with Boris, and it was an outstanding experience. The apartment is beautifully decorated with captivating artworks, a testament to his talent as an artist. The location was ideal for our travels, but what truly stood out was Boris himself. He shared invaluable local tips and engaged in enriching conversations, making our stay all the more memorable. Brief Summary: Fantastic host who provided great recommendations of nearby food and tourist spots, clean and affordable location ~10 minutes away from the subway, comfortable apartment with sufficient privacy and welcoming environment. I booked the living room stay for three nights, which still provided ample privacy and amenities necessary for a comfortable stay. Curtains are available to block off the view, and at no point was I disturbed by any of the other guests. The host, Boris, created a welcoming environment and offered great recommendations of places nearby and in the city to visit. The location has a private entrance with little foot traffic outside and with the windows closed has very little noise from the street, perfect for light sleepers. I heavily recommend this location and especially the living room stay for solo travelers as it provides everything you'll need and more at a great price!

The place has a nice and homely feeling to it. Very clean place and it is in a very nice neighborhood but I think the biggest highlight of the stay was the host. Boris, the host, is one of the nicest and most understanding hosts I have ever come across. He has a lot of insights to share about the neighborhood and if you ever feel lost in a new place just feel free to ask him anything. He is also an amazing artist, some of his works are truly extraordinary.

Everything was great!

We had a wonderful stay with Boris. He was attentive, really pleasant and his apartment was lovely. It was in Brooklyn, so easy enough to access transportation, but he was also very helpful with suggestions of where to go. He was so kind to draw our portraits while we were there too and I'm so glad we stayed with him - I would definitely recommend that anyone else do too!

The three flights of stairs up to the apartment - it was a bit of a struggle to get our heavy luggage up. Wouldn’t recommend to anybody with mobility issues.

Our room was clean and airy, with a good shower in the bathroom. The shared kitchen and living room were clean and well equipped. Boris was a very friendly and helpful host, giving us a thorough briefing on the local area and transport options. Boris is an accomplished artist, and we enjoyed seeing the numerous works in the apartment.

I do not have any negatives.

The owner was thorough in explaining late check in procedures. He even face timed me to show me how to get to the parking space. Boris was friendly and truly wanted my husband and I to have a pleasant experience. Loved the terraces and living space environment. Having an on-suite bathroom was everything. The area was safe and we felt right at home. We would definitely stay again if traveling to Brooklyn.
