Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe pool table in the rec area was closed all weekend for a "meeting". i was looking forward to playing pool with my partner in the evening, but the "meeting" never ended. There was what looked like clothing hung up in the room (that we could see through the curtain). Was someone using it as an extra room? My reservation through Booking.com didn't post in my Hyatt app.
Friendly staff. Comfortable room. Valet staff was EXCELENT!

United States of AmericaThe little table was hardly big enough to use. With the big, unoccupied space next to the window there could be a functional table and chairs.

United States of AmericaThe communication of what they were charging us was not what we were told. I was charged an extra $100 of fees that were not communicated to me. Me and my husband were told the pet fee was $50 at check-in but then at check out I was charge $100 for pet fee plus a $50 fee for if there was any damage done but it be refunded back later on. None of this was communicated and that was the only thing I was disappointed in.
A creative hotel, lots of amazing art design and definitely reflected the Memphis history. The staff was nice and place was clean.

United States of AmericaStaff helpfulness variable.
View of Mississippi River is nice from rooms, rooms modern and straightforward, lobby and check in is a bit confusing with hotels connected and the check in desk at the Beale in the midst of the lobby with customers eating and drinking very close by.

United States of AmericaThe staffing in the diner was very friendly but there appeared to be only two people for the morning breakfast. The lack of staffing caused a line to build for check out and longer than expected delivery of food.
The location was great. Close to Beale Street and Civil Rights Museum. The facilities were very clean and staff very supportive.

CyprusRooms are cleaned after the second day and although I specifically requested cleaning on the second day I never had my room cleaned for my entire three days stay. Some of the stuff especially in breakfast/cafe appear indifferent at best . But nevertheless a good choice and ideal location to explore downtown Memphis
Close to Beale Street. Beautifully decorated rooms. But to really worth choosing this hotel make sure you book a river view room. The Mississippi views especially during sunset are amazing

United States of AmericaThe beds are not very comfortable. We stayed on the 10th floor, so there wasn't hot water for very long while showering. Breakfast included needs to be specified as to what that includes and not overcharge guest if they ask the server, and they said everything was included. Make the menus with asterisks that signify it's included.
The quirky vibe. Loved the happy hour and pool table. Very close to Beale Street, the trolley, and restaurants. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful!
