The cleanliness. The vanity sink was dirty and had hairs on it as well as the bathtub! The fridge made so much noise when it turned on that we were awakened by the sound!

The place was just as expected. No complaints.

The place has tons of character. We had a cozy little cabin in the snowy woods by the river. My teenaged kids slept upstairs in the loft and we used the downstairs bedroom. We had everything we needed. The cabins are rustic and small, just as we had expected. The staff was great.

The staff was very accommodating. The hotel room was average. The linens were average. The bathroom was average. It was a nice room but not fancy.

Enjoyed our stay as part of our Road Trip Great Value for money and just what we needed. Had a Laundry so we were able to do our washing

No continental breakfast. This was not a surprise because the listing stated "no meal plan" but it would of been nice.

Review is for 2 queen beds room. Room was large with two chairs and table. Nice decor. Coffee machine, microwave, refrigerator, portable heater for cool mornings. Sink and mirror in separate area from toilet and shower. Ample parking next to room. Friendly check-in and helpful in connecting to Wi-Fi which was fast (20GB/s download speed). Plenty of lights in room and plenty of receptacles for electronics.

Clerks at the check in desk were trying to do three multitask (answering the phone, another gal asking what to do next at the same time asking for name, how I'm paying, and using computer to print out invoice and collect cash and issuing keys and signing form and didn't greet us nor welcomed us. So we got our keys drive up to room to unload bags in order but our cabin was not ready until later so we went ahead to get to our train ride at 3:00 pm Morning the groundskeeper was at the desk and of course very cheerful and attentive to offer coffee and helpful in checking us out He is an asset.

Beds were really soft, I had to ask for two additional pillows. Would be nice to have 4 pillows on the bed. Also for a reservation for two adults would like to. Have at least 3-4 bath towels available. The microwave was on the bottom of a self which was basically at floor level. I had to sit on the floor to operate

The location was very close to the restaurants and the train station. You offered a King bed which many of the other locations did not have. The availability to a mini fridge and microwave was great. Plenty of room for parking.

The pillows. Old, flat and lumpy.

Our stay was very pleasant. The owners went out of their way to make us comfortable and address our needs. There was nothing noteworthy about the room (typical motel room) but the motel setting and grounds were very well kept and attractive. We enjoyed the parklike environment, and the grounds were clean and neat.

Went to Chama to ride the train...Excellent location...Nice clean room..It was quiet at night.

We blew a fuse in our room but the manager was quick to get the power back on.

There was a viewing platform overlooking a slough along the Chama River where we could watch birds.

Shower was disappointing. Nearly half the water continued to come out the tub spout after pulling the valve. The permanently installed shower curtain rod was loose and barely hanging on.

Bed was comfortable, A/C was cold, friendly staff, reasonably clean room, spoke with new manager and he talked about plans for continued improvements. Place has a lot of potential.
