Every room has so many pictures of God's of different religion mostly Hindus. At reception and even lobby it could be acceptable but in every room and not even one picture. This could hurt feelings of different religion.

The price is on the higher side. The breakfast thing needs improvements because not everyone is sure about that thing as there are two separated floors (1st floor for ladies and 2nd for gents), so i was hesitating and didn't know what to do and who to ask.

The place was clean. I think the location was good (walking distance to empire state building and more)

the water pressure in the shower is weak but it's okay if you stay there for one-two nights. It's an old house, no elevator so careful when you bring heavy luggages (the staff helped me with it). The receptionist phone was on loud speaker even though in the evening.

The staff are nice and it is located in a great location as well. Free breakfast and there are food 24 hours in the hostel.

Very close to Penn Station, there are stores near by to buy food or other little things needed for a trip such as sandals and so. It is a good and different experience since the rooms are made of wood and they are placed all together inside another room, but it was always clean and personally regardless the particular logistics you can get privacy.

Can hear the next room persons snoring, talking and all other noises. Bathroom for men and women both. No hand dryer.

Not a negative point, but this hostel is mostly for solo travellers.

Its a decent stay located near Penn station, which makes reaching any location convenient. The hostel itself is clean. The solo rooms in hostel are small, around 2x1.5 meters, so if you are very tall you might have trouble fitting in the room. But for me it was okay. Otherwise, the staff were nice, and allowed me to leave my luggage even after my booking has ended.

The room/bed is on a short side. If you are tall, consider this before your booking.

Location is excelllent. 5min walk from Penn station, 10min walk from Times square. The breakfast table is available 24h.

I didn’t like that the bad was a little small for me because I’m a tall person 😅 and you hear everything from the other rooms.

I like that the property is close to the bus station and it was cheaper than other places in the area.

I didn't notice that the rooms were open at the ceiling and I'm a very light sleeper. This is a personal problem, if you're a heavy sleeper, you'll be ok. But I kept waking up at the smallest sound and even my earplugs didn't help much.

Great location, helpful and kind staff. Decent facilities. Bathrooms and showers were quite clean.
