The rooms are quite dark and tired in decor. Shower was pretty terrible. The gym had no water or towels.

Walkable into the historic district staff were really friendly and helpful.

The cleaning crew arrived and started vacuuming at 6 a.m. in the morning around the hall and the room next door and continued until we got up and out at 9 a.m.

At checking the smoke detector was disconnected and sitting on the desk. Room phone cradle was sticky with looked liked soda or coffee.

Great location to College of William And Mary. I booked an accessible room that was missing many accessible features that I needed.

Housekeeping us chaotic. First room we were given had one bed not made up - just a jumble of bedding. Each day used towels were taken away and not replaced, and complimentary coffee etc in the room was not replaced - had to keep asking for new supplies.

Location is great in the edge of the historic district- easy walking distance. Front desk staff very helpful.

Breakfast was in an awkward location and my wife wasn't able to get all the things she wanted. Hotel was rather musty.

The hotel itself is dated and could use renovations. You can see the cracks in the walls and moldings, the fray in the rugs, plus the doors in the rooms are crooked or cracked. Our tub didn't drain well, and the AC was lacking, to say the least. We put it down to 64, and it still would not cool the room. It's like they set it to 70, and even though you adjust the temp, it remains the same. The hotel itself smells damp, and I will tell you our room felt damp as well. Maybe it's just the summer heat, but we came from another hotel that didn't seem to have this issue.

The location is fantastic. Close to the historical area of Williamsburg and Merchant Square. The room was clean, and the breakfast was good. I think this hotel is okay for a night or two but I would not stay for a week.

The carpets needed cleaned, there were someone's sandals left under the bed, ceiling was cracked and a little mold exposed, Hallway carpet was very dirty as was the carpet in the room. The cleaning lady on 2nd floor was using a home vacuum cleaner rather than a commercial vacuum to clean hallways.

Musky smell. Room & Bathroom were not as clean as should be. Linens were dated.

Sheets were clean. Room was cool. Breakfast was nice.

Noisy. Kids outside in parking lot playing football until 11:30 at night. Could hear slamming doors up and down hallway also. Not very sound insulated.

Breakfast was good. However when we arrived in the breakfast room there were no coffee cups. My husband had to go to the front area of the hotel and get the coffee cups from that area in order for us and others coming in the breakfast area to get coffee. Also when we arrived in our room we were told by housekeeping that there was no toilet tissue available. Best Western was waiting on a shipment. My husband again had to go to the front office to get toilet tissue in the late afternoon.

However our room keys didn't work half the time had them redone several times. The pool was very disapointing it was freezing cold. There was also a day when the elevador was not working which caused my husband and myself to go up and down the stairs multiple times. We are both disabled

Most everyone was great there was a couple with actitudes breakfast was great every day. It was a very central location.

The pool was open and looked nice until we got in it. We never hears the filter run and the walls of the pool were filthy. We got out as soon as we saw it. See attached photo.

Paid for preferred room. Holes (missing plaster off ceiling above shower head). TV did not work. Beds were not made and floor not vacuumed after our first night. Only garbage and towels were cared for. No towels at pool.

The man working desk and just about everything else was wonderful. Worked hard and was stuck with a double shift and was back the next day. This man seemed to be the only one there. He ran for pool towels, and extra pillows while watching the desk and even tried to fix our tv. Did a double shift and was filling counter with food for breakfast the next morning. HE NEEDS A RAISE.

The bathroom and the door. Small bathroom. Needs more space for the door and shower area.

I like the area and that it was put together inside the room. And the toilet seat was on correctly.

They put us on the pet floor. We didn't have a pet. Our children would go from my room to their parents room and you could hear the pets stirring and making them bark. The pool was dirty. Breakfast was nothing to write home about. Our one room had water troubles and the heat would not shut off. It took going to the front desk complaining twice before they moved us to another room.

We really liked the location. We liked that our rooms were close to each other. We were just happy to spend some quality time together.
