We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Front desk clerk was rude, she didn't bring towels when requested (there weren't any in the room) and there were a couple guys/ladies that appeared to be "working" the hotel!

When we arrived the receptionist was busy talking on the phone while taking care of the checking. Unfriendly and was not very concerned about addressing my needs. I've been to this hotel many times before. It's the first bus experience with staff.

Bathroom facilities were inadequate (shower didn’t turn on, toilet didn’t flush properly). Staff member upon check in was unprofessional and left to go on her break mid-check in, leaving us with some unanswered questions

The rooms were so old and outdated. The furniture is stained and the old tile and grout in the bathroom gave the feeling that the room was unclean. The hallway carpet was so old and stained it gave off a horrible smell in the hallway.

The rooms were very very dirty. I am just thankful i travel with cleaning supplies just in case. Behind furniture and bathrooms , lots of hair in bathtub and sink.
Breakfast was great so was the staff. Everyone was very friendly

My room had not been vacuumed had trash around bed .. the railing had screws missing outside by steps made me very uncomfortable as I have a bad leg and was nervous to touch rail

There were a lot of smokers and the hotel halls and common areas frequently smelled like weed.
The hotel was so close to Colonial Williamsburg it was almost walking distance.

I didn't like that there was not microwave in the room, a refrig that did not work. Not enough electrial outlets. Water standing in the tub, slow going down.There was a $20 fee added to the bill, which wasn't on the bill. I can't remember what the clerk said it was for, and I don't know if I hadn't checked my bank account before I left that I would have missed it. when I asked about it, she knew exactly what I was talking about. She did say that it would be refunded, but it wasn't on my reciept, so I will continue to check. The complex also stated no pets, but I could have sworn I heard a dog barking a couple of times. Where my room was located, it was very noisey. My grandbaby, whose 6 even commented on the noise.
I like the convenience of the area. I enjoyed the fact that it had an outdoor/indoor pool and jacuzzi

Hallways are hot . No a.c in Hallways . Continental breakfast was bad. Hair on bathroom floor. Hot tube didn't work all the time. Electrical outlets didn't work. Needs major upgrades .

Original rooms were filthy bathtubs had mold and trash behind beds and night stand the receptionist was able to move us 2 3 other rooms which were slightly better however the a/c didn't work in one room but it was resolved quickly pool was extremely old neglected and needed cleaning

Their wasn't no microwave in the room. The fridge was dirty. The door side piece was sticking out. Housekeeping didn't come to our room to clean or give us fresh towels an rags. Rhe bed my mother an my son slept, My mother kept saying that she felt like something was bitting her. They charged the wrong card. They also charged my card before I even checked into the hotel. We didn't have a iron in our room. An they gave us a broken one, before they gave us another one. Also the toilet doesn't flush well.
