To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Excellent location/ loved the fact there were always snacks/ tea and coffee available up until midnight. Continental breakfast was simple but offered a varied range of pastries/ yogurt/ tea and coffee/

The bed was very comfortable. Our room was on top floor, so light filled and quiet. Liked also that it was a smaller hotel and the midtown location. The 2nd floor lounge area was a nice feature, where you got a continental breakfast and all day access to snacks and drinks.

United States of AmericaThe room (queen bed) was large with an actual two seater sofa, armchair, coffee table and desk fit comfortable at the foot of the bed AND large closet to hang clothes, put shoes etc! Decor was perhaps dated but charming and totally unlike standard hotel decor. The lounge area was great with ample seating, and snacks, water, coffee, tea, etc all day long and it was always cleaned up and fresh looking. Plenty of newspapers in the morning as well. Enjoyed listening to the languages spoken by guests (Italian, German) and everyone was relaxed and courteous. Staff were super friendly and helpful too!

But prices were extraordinarily high in mid-December and the price did not match the quality of the room. The first night I was there, I could not get hot water in the shower.
The location was perfect for me on this trip. The staff was so nice and helpful. My room was quiet and spacious. I had requested a quiet room away from the elevator and utility closets and Elysee delivered! Greatly appreciated. The bed was super comfortable.
