Absolutely nothing. Steve and Cindie are great people who truly want guests to feel welcome, pampered, and like cherished family.

Everything. The location was perfect for us. Very walkable area. The room was very large, comfortable bed, huge bathroom with amenities. With only six rooms off the lobby and lounge, it was very homey. The owners are always available for questions about the area, with great recommendations for dining (check out Jia for dim sum!!). Because of the owners, the guests seem almost curated as a fabulous dinner party/weekend in the country. We met and made friends in the lobby every day, mostly over the breakfasts provided in the lounge area. If you have any reason to be on Long Island near Port Washington, you could not do any better. And dare I say you might miss out on a great experience you will regret.....

There is nothing negative at all to say about this hotel, I challenge anyone to try find something! A piece of advice if you are travelling to Manhattan take a day or two in Port Washington you will thank yourself especially if you stay at Fathoms

There is nothing I can say here to truly express how truly amazing Fathoms is. From first meeting Cindie and Steve we knew our stay was going to be fantastic, there is nothing they haven’t thought of to make your stay comfortable. They are such good hosts with lots of suggestions for things to do and places to eat in the area.

every thing about the Fathoms was beyond expectation. the host, Steve was caring kind and very very helpful. the location is spectacular and the facility is right in town for shopping and eating and site seeing yet very quiet and serene. a true jewel. highly recommended.

Very minor but each room was allotted only one car for parking.

Beautiful location and scenery. Room was beautifully decorated and loved the attention to detail throughout in the room as well as hotel. Molton Brown bath products as well as plush towels & bedding were so appreciated. Cindie and Steve were wonderful hosts and were went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay.

Breakfast was awesome!! The room was spacious and amazing. It was our wedding night and we had seen great reviews on this hotel. Loved our view. Steve had our view updated to the bigger full lake view because it was our wedding night. Owners are friendly and so accommodating. Would def stay again!

Fathoms is, hands down, the best new hotel in New York. The rooms are exquisite, comfortable and beautifully appointed. Most unique is the lobby, with its well thought out refreshments, welcoming music and rooms with breathtaking views of the water. I found the staff to be friendly, helpful and diligent in keeping the hotel immaculate. Breakfast included delicious, authentic bagels that are not so easy to find anymore and perfect for meals, especially in the midst of a pandemic. The best part, however, are the couple who run Fathoms. They are the sweetest, most caring people who go out of their way to make their guests feel welcome and taken care of. I was visiting New York during a difficult time and they made my stay so much easier. I brought a mug home so I get to think of them often when I have coffee. I can't wait to go back!!!

The heating/ac unit is SO LOUD. We were fortunate it was not so cold we needed to run the heat at night (in November) as it would have been impossible to sleep. In truth, that is one issue that would stop us staying again. Maybe sometime you can switch those big units for Heat Pumps, which are practically silent.

What a gorgeous hotel! Beautiful views, lovely hosts, and a cute walkable town. The attention to detail was evident everywhere in this place. The decor alone set the mood for relaxation...modern and serene without being boring and comfortable and homey without being stuffy. Luxurious and relaxed at the same time. Why spend 2+ hours in a car getting away from the city? Hop on the train for 40 minutes and feel like you are at a resort. Stay here!!

A beautiful place full of nature and lots of love, and when we say love, it is accompanied by attentions, details of its beautiful owners Steve and Cindy, who are spectacular people who will welcome you with open arms and all their affection to every visitor who comes to this wonderful place. The hotel is clean, beautiful facilities, close to everything and at the same time close to nature. My wife and I did not want to return from there and we will come as many times as we can. 1000% recommended Thank God for taking us here and introducing us to Fathoms Hotel.
