Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe hotel wasn’t grand in anyway but it had what was needed. A swimming pool would be great, but it doesn’t have the space to accommodate one.
The hotel was in a great area for exploring the city - there were plenty of options for restaurants nearby and being close to Penn Station made getting around using the subway easy. The room was comfortable and the hotel had all we needed for a city break.

NetherlandsI was expecting more from a 4-star hotel. Everything seemed a little worn out. Major negative: it's advertised as sound proofed, but it's not - you can hear noise from street and elevator
Convenient location closed to Penn Station. Price was correct Very helpful staff

United KingdomThe beds were tiny for two people and uncomfortable. The room felt fairly basic and while it was clean, the carpeting in the room felt dirty. We asked for extra blankets (because the beds were so tiny for two adults) but they only had one spare blanket left in the whole hotel.
The staff were friendly and the location is good. The complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby was also nice.

United States of AmericaWe had to pay a parking garage three blocks away for parking 55$ for 24 hours, but what we did not realize is once we parked our car, we could not access it or use it at all. So we ended up paying over 100$ for taxis and Ubers.
Staff were very helpful and friendly.

United KingdomMixture of room designs. Our king room was good, however my son and partner were in room 208 and couldn't move around the bed properly as aircon unit in the way. Had 1/2 wardrobe. However the team changed this the next night upon asking.
Helpful team. Changed sons room on request Good location within easy reach of main areas.

United KingdomBedside tables were dusty and the lift doors were opening/closing very slowly at some point but that was quickly sorted. Food at the bar is a bit expensive and not as good as I was hoping for.
The location is fantastic! Prefect if you have only a couple of days for exploring NYC. Bed was extremely comfortable and room size was good.

United States of AmericaThe breakfast should have been included with the price paid.
The hotel was at a very convenient location at hudson yards. Just a 6 minute walk to the nearest subway station. Close to times square 42nd Street (just 1 stop). The area around the hotel was safe. The king room was of decent size. However, the cleaning services were every alternate day.

United States of AmericaI was a bit surprised to see that the room didn't have mini fridge to cool drinks. Lobby area is on a smaller side, so maybe not the most convenient for very large groups, but not a big deal.
Staff was incredibly kind, helpful and professional. They made everyone feel very welcome. Location is super convenient. We had an amazing view from our window. They have arrangements for parking nearby, which was very important for us.
