we arrived in the evening to rooms that had not been cleaned. after asking twice, someone finally came to clean. We had bought rooms with a view. And the view was fully blocked by a building. We learned then that you only really have a view for the last 4 floors.

the location and the breakfast and the personal were great. We had issues in the hotel and the personal really went out of their way to make it right. Both the staff at breakfast and the manager have been understanding and helpful.

Rooms are very small. It gets very crowded when you are a party of two with two large suitcases. Minifridge availabe upon request, but I had no idea where to place it in the room. So I did not ask for it. Service at breakfast was sometimes a bit slow. Service and choice of drinks in the roof top bar leaves room for improvement. The great views may justify the prices, but as a bar as such there are many better options in the neighborhood.

Immaculate clean rooms, modern (not dated) outfits, comfortable bed. Adequate breakfast menu, food was good. Friendly staff. Location.

Only thing I didn’t like was that you could hear the elevator going up and down, but to be fair it quietened after about 11.30pm.

Only had breakfast 1 morning and it was very good, location excellent, really nice and helpful staff. Hotel room was spotlessly clean. Bathroom was lovely and a great shower.

Room with king bed is very small. We were mother and daughter only (we are not large size) and we could barely walk around it. There is no enough space between bed and des/closet/wall...and no space to open luggage really as we blocked small hallway/bathroom entrance with it. No coffee/tea maker or mini fridge in the room. Shower in bathroom was not pristine clean, the type of rustic tile possibly makes it difficult for cleaners to see sticky soap and hairs on it...

Location is excellent, metro and walking everywhere. The decor and style is nice. The staff everyone from reception to bell boys to restaurant servers were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good and substantial. We liked the power/charging station on the desk.

Unfortunately as others have mentioned, from most rooms you can hear the elevator as it moves, which makes a bit of a whistling noise that is nearly constant. I was initially put in a room immediately in front of the elevator and when asked to move, the staff couldn't accommodate until my last night. When I was moved, it was just a few doors down and I could still hear the elevator. Luckily, those on my floor weren't loud, but I could see it going in that direction during the busy season, using the elevator after late nights. Overall, it was a bit annoying but I was still able to rest even with the sound eventually as background noise.

This is a fantastic, fairly new hotel in the heart of Midtown just a few blocks away from the Empire State Building. I was traveling for work and was able to check in early and have a comfortable stay. The bed was lovely and I enjoyed the aesthetic of the room, super modern but cozy. My room was always well attended and spotless and the shower was perfect. I would definitely stay here again when traveling for work.

Would have appreciated a more well appointed gym. Treadmills are outdated and not much room for more than 2-3 people to use weights at a time.

Unfortunately the water in rooms was not free and I noticed it the last day :( Also we only got one set of shower gel and shampoo. I thought amenities were going to be refilled when needed. We only got one bathrobe and slippers for two people. I requested one more pair of slippers at the front desk. For the price I feel like one additional shower gel and slippers would not be too much. Orange carpets near the beds are giving a very dirty feeling. It’s not necessary.

Amazing location near popular locations, calm room. We booked an Empire view and were happy with it. Very smiling team at the front desk and entry. Large shower and nice decoration in the rooms.

I didn’t like how we had to pay for simple things like water, there was no outlet by the tv to plug in any systems you had to use. The room was kinda small.the ceiling over the bed looked like a construction site wall even though the ceiling in the rest of the room was perfectly fine it was just kinda creepy to wake up and see that on the ceiling.

I liked that I could call the front desk for absolutely anything and the person speaking was nice. The room was pretty updated. I was able to connect my phone to the tv.

The restaurant on the first floor was terrible for breakfast. Incredibly slow, always forgot things, the staff was not attentive at all. Do not recommend eating breakfast there. Also the rooftop bar is outrageously expensive. $59 for two drinks.
