On the outskirts of town closer to the mountain than other places we have stayed. Everything was SO clean and organized, staff was very nice.

No gym BUT they do give you free passes to the recreational gym up the street from the Hotel. Which is very nice.

The facility felt cramped, parking and lighting in parking lot is not great, didn’t feel secure; room not clean- there was underwear in one of the drawers as an example.

Location is fine; Durango isn’t that large.

The hotel elevator is loud and super slow, and where our room was you could hear it going all night.

Location was great, everything was nice and clean, staff was polite and easy to work with, and breakfast was really well done.

Parking especially due to remodeling construction. Did not really like the refrigerator being in a low cabinet behind a door. When I asked the front desk why no microwave was told it was a space issue. But yet- there was a closet that took up almost a whole wall but only half oft was accessible. I would think the fridge and the microwave could be stacked in a portion of that closet just fine.

I prefer the Hampton when I travel and when family and friends come to town. I pay a higher price due to the consistancy of their properties.

They are remodeling the main floor. The rooms had all just been remodeled and were very nice. However, because of the remodeling, the breakfast was in a different area. We had a delicious breakfast though with everything included. By the time I fill out this review, the hotel is probably done with the remodeling. The staff was very kind and accomadating. I would definitley stay there again when in Durango.

Most of the hotel was under construction. There was no access to the pool or tub. The lobby was almost always inaccessible. The noise, dust, and chemical smells (paint and glue) were too much! And all of that would have been ok if I had known beforehand, and if there had been a substantial reduction in price.

The staff was amazing. The breakfast was pretty good for a hotel buffet breakfast. I really like the rooms, they feel comfortable and homey. I absolutely love how easy the hotel is about pets. I will certainly look for Hampton Inn again.

When I booked this, there was no mention of the construction going on. That didn't bother me. They were very pleasant people and staff. My room was nice and very well cleaned. The housekeepers did not clean it every day. And when they did they cleaned it too early before I checked out I had a late check out time. The breakfast was great on the weekends they were able to make due with what they had there. But it could've been more there other than pancakes and or French toast and breakfast sandwiches. I love staying at Hampton Inn because of the breakfasts, and the awesome service and comfortable beds. I got two our of three, but normally I get 3 out of 3 and or more.

The pool was closed for renovations but they offered passes to the rec center instead. So it was fine

The hotel staff was very friendly. Even though the hotel was under renovation, it was very quiet and clean. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed. Lots of options at breakfast.
