Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.

Breakfast was really basic, I missed some fruit. But is was all in all really ok!
Perfect location to visit New York for the first time. We did nearly everything walking. Staff was really nice. Breakfast ok, basic but fine. Room had enough space for 4 people, 4 nights. Good value for money!

The road in front of hotel and walks are nasty. I don’t believe scaffolding across the road causes it. It just needs attention.

The fitness center could be better equipped
Great location, close to everything, the best sights, shopping, restaurants A good area to be based in. I could see the Empire State building from my window.

The room was a bit small and dimly lit plus the room staff forgot to make up our room a couple of times.
Loved the location being in the center of town with so much shopping and restaurants/eateries. The hotel is well maintained and clean. The complimentary breakfast is a bonus. The front desk staff is welcoming and very helpful. The room staff did a great job. The room was very clean, smelled nice and had everything we needed plus it was very quiet in spite of being in such a busy area. We would definitely return for another stay.

Pillows and beds could be more comfortable for the price you stay to stay here, rooms were very small, elevators got backed up often

Funny enough ....... the bed pillows . too soft
Location could not have been better off . Room was nice and comfy and very clean .. We had and found all that we need it in our room As for breakfast it was nice , good and fresh . Though missed the cold cuts , like cheeses and ham . Otherwise restaurant clean and the helpers around where all nice and helpfull . Keep up the good job !!!!

I was not told in advance that a security deposit was required. I had not factored that into my budget. Guest SHOULD BE NOTIFIED IN ADVANCE.
Breakfast options were great. The staff was visible and helpful keeping tables clean and refilling coffee and food trays.

The USD50 daily deposit wasn’t explicitly stated at the point of booking so it was an unexpected expense at checkin albeit it is refundable.
Great location and good buffet breakfast. The bagels with raisins were great. Very close to the Empire State Building and Penn Station.

Rooms could be alittle more bigger an beds softer. The hallways are to small you feel cramped and the breakfast was nice other than being down 1 waffle maker an too crowded that we went out to grab breakfast.
Nice lobby and good customer service at front desk. The room was nice.

Noise! But I think in general New York gets a lot noisier from the last time I visited in 2018, so not the hotel's fault. As the location is very central, the noise level is quite high. Prepare an earplug if you are sensitive to sound. You can also hear everything in the hallway when you are in your room.
Location is very central. Steps from the 34 St Harold Square subway stop and a walking distance to the 34 St Penn Station stop which both are big stations so you basically can travel anywhere in New York by subway easily. The room is clean, newly-renovated and non-carpet which I like. Free breakfast is a bonus and it's not shabby at all. There's a free coffee station that is available 24/7.

The elevator and hallways are very tiny and the set up for breakfast is not laid out very well
Property is in a very convenient location close to subways and within walking distance of several areas. The breakfast was a rotating selection that gave you plenty of options. We stayed on the 19th floor and with earplugs we heard zero outside noise. There is a slight wait for elevators but it wasn’t ever too long. The staff were all very helpful and pleasant to deal with. They were able to satisfy all of our requests for stuff we forgot.

Well, the breakfast self serve was a bit chaotic. People don't read "Breakfast starts here" sign. Maybe additional plates could be placed before the hot food? We missed out on the bacon Saturday morning, sausage patties were ok. Hard to get to juice dispenser with kids mixing juices, not fault of hotel.
Desk staff were very helpful re places to eat the first evening. The room was very clean. My son, who came in from CA, loved the view of the ESB. Loved the cookies! Staff replaced the coffee & hot water urns as soon as empty.

all was ok, I need to only ask twice for additional bath towels ... as after morning cleanup, they left only one :(
Great hotel in good place. Easy to access subway, close to Empire and other. Usually you can go by foot no need to take a subway even :) Quite big room, with good TV in cold days ;) and breakfasts - they are not the same each day, so you will find different kind of food each morning (sausage, chicken, omelets, scrambled eggs)
