The elevators were never working properly or would take forever to find your floor. The bathrooms didn’t have hooks for any towels. Another problem was there was no fan in the small bathroom so it was hard to take a hot shower without steaming up everything too much. Or using the bathroom without a fan wasn’t enjoyable. The location made it worth it, but I’ve stayed in cheaper hotels that had better basic amenities. We also noticed they had a failing score for their fire escape safety.

The elevator was a problem, the room was small, you could hear every door around you close, annoying. The hotel said one price for car to airport, but at airport the driver said another.

Pillows could be more comfortable

I just had trouble with the pillows, which were not comfortable, and I saw a small stain on a towel. Other than that, everything satisfied me greatly. The location is very good, and the personnel were very friendly and helpful. I am especially grateful to Joel, who carried my two big suitcases by himself to ensure I didn't miss the car to the airport.

1. The room was too small - my husband could not move in his wheelchair without hitting the furniture. 2. Smell of sewer gas came from the drain in the bathroom floor next to the toilet, and eventually spread into the bedroom.

1. LOCATION! 2. Staff were friendly and helpful, and recommended good restaurants. 3. The room had lots of storage and everything in the bathroom worked well.

The elevators are very slow so we used stairs as thankfully we were only on the 8th floor

The buttons of the elevators don't work. That is confusing and it takes ages to get a spot in one. It isn't as clean as it could be. You can see marks on the wall here and there.

The location was great. Close to Central Park and Times Square but quite enough to get a good sleep. The Room was great.

The attention to detail was not crisp examples; 1. The Restaraunt is financially separate to the hotel. Charges for breakfasts were supposed to have been taken on our bank card but although the cards were taken and used the meals were still added to the room. This caused issues when leaving the hotel as delays with IS and French banking meant we couldn’t see what was waiting to come out of our account, but they insisted that we had to contact them from France if duplicated charges could be proven, rather than them not charging to avoid us being out of pocket and having to prove it post stay!!!! Bad practice!!!! 2. Things like noisy refrigerator, sticking room door and having to ask for soap to be refreshed, also room service only every second day. 3. Charges to bank cards $100 security to enable them to always be financially ahead, see breakfast charges above!

Continuous nighttime noises that seem to be coming from air conditioning.

Breakfast was good, but if it had cold meats and cheese it would be even better. The service from the staff was very good. As for the location, let's say it's great, 10 minutes from Times Square and Central Park. Ideal location for going to see a Broadway show.

The hotel charged me extra 177$ using the card that was in the booking reservation. Two days I was asking why they charged me extra and they did not know the answer. The 3th day explained to me that it was a system error. The hotel refund the amount at the end.

Only three small elevators for 34 floors, and no service elevator, so long waits and crowded. Maid service poor and often arriving late in the afternoon, if at all. Few appear to speak English. Breakfast in Empire restaurant poor - little choice for $25 compared to the breakfast offered in similar hotel for same price. The quality of the breakfast was a deciding factor for NOT choosing the restaurant for dinner in the evening.

The hotel is in a good location, and the front desk are really helpful, particularly Maranda who was brilliant during our five day stay.

All the reviews are true the elevators are slow !!! Luckily we were on the 2nd floor and could easily take the stairs !

The only thing was our room never got cleaned when we were there. The cleaners came about an hour before we left. We were there 3 nights. They said cleaning was every other day but ours was never touched. Wished we could have had better cleaning services.

Loved the location and how nice the bedroom was. Also had nice and cold ac for our late spring stay. They also let us store our bags after checkout as we had a late flight

Angie/ Angelique was extremely kind and helpful at reception. Her service was exceptional. The bed was very comfortable, room was clean, the cleaning staff was very friendly and helpful. Reception overall, was very kind and helpful. Location was perfect, walking distance time square.
