Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

One out of four kids had a skin reaction to the pool. Probably something to do with the pH. Kids were eating food in the pool gross. Not necessarily the hotels fault
Room was clean. Staff was very nice. Overall good experience would stay there again and recommend to others.

Nothing, really. We stayed here a few times and found nothing seriously wrong.
Really liked the fact that this room has a kitchen. Very large room. We didn't use it, but if you were staying in the area for a few days it would be useful. This is central location for anyone visiting family or friends in the area, as we were. Comfy bed, quiet stay.

The staff were great and the free breakfast was nice. I think I would suggest more specific diet items for breakfast. I’m a diabetic. Some suggestions would be more sugar free options like plain yogurt, sugar free granola and possibly low carb bread products.

Check in experience less than optimal, person attempted to multitask while answering customer phone call and telling them to hold while they offered me my key in a rush. The bed really vibrated at times, not sure if it is atop the ice maker or elevator machinery. Wished to utilize internet but difficulty using VPN to insure internet safety on device so did not utilize this feature.
Room set up good, ample space. Parking excellent and ample.

It would be nice if the front desk staff greeted guests as they entered the hotel. Being polite and making guests feel welcome and cared for really makes a difference.
Excellent location close to everything on the outskirts of Poughkeepsie. Spacious and clean room.

Breakfast was nothing exceptional. About average for the trade although I always entertain the hope that something other than toasted bread, oatmeal, cereal, and mystery meat and eggs will be offered even if you have to pay a few dollars for a fresh cooked meal. The usual meh fare. Coffee was all right; ended up elsewhere for breakfast after checking out the options. I'm not a fan of the bathroom with the sink and vanity on the outside; the shower and toilet feel claustrophobic and if you do want to get dressed privately it's not an option. Bathroom is a bit dated and could use an upgrade with the sink and vanity in the actual room.
Biig room with a little kitchen. It was quiet and the pillows on the bed were comfy. Easy parking and entrance/exit into the lot. A very nice room for a quick stopover when visiting family. Will stay again.

Everyone in the staff was very polite and helpful! The rooms were very comfortable and clean, and I appreciated greatly that they were willing to accommodate us. Because of our experience and the location (we have family near the area) we will definitely be returning!

When we got to our room the pots and pans that were there were dirty. I normally wouldn’t complain but I needed it to heat up my babies milk. Also I wish there we could buy certain things like toothbrush or sponges to hand wash our dishes or in my case babies items. We forgot to bring a sponge and toothbrush 🪥 maybe a little “store?” Or vending machines?
I love the bed the shower toiletries the kitchenette huge fridge and the amenities such as the pool and fire pit outside. The area had so much to do.

Bathroom is a bit small.
