Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Other than cosmetic issues with the room that maintenence needs to work on... old water stains to cover, replace caulk in bathroom. A couple of loose outlets that need replacement due to age.

The breakfast room was kind of a mess, even though someone was there working. Trash needed to be emptied; hot food had run out even by 8 in the morning.

There was dirty towels hanging on bathroom door- and not sure if the bath was cleaned from previous stay, but overall it was clean and there was fresh towels for us.
Staff was very friendly, we didnt get rooms close together (on 6th and 1st floor) , view from the top one was incredible. Room was clean. Breakfast was delicious with big variety of food and drinks. Location was great. There is a parking for $10 fee available.

Would recommend this hotel Friendly, efficient, staff. I am talking about all the employees,kitchen,housekeeping,and front desk. So,close to the river,you can hear it,the moment you walk out the front of the hotel.

Not enough seating in lobby. Two lobby cushions stained. (Good grief). Bland wall colors.

Location was great . Right next to Niagara falls park. The room needed a refresh for the carpet and chair which were worn. The breakfast was fantastic and we were offered eggs, potatoes, sausage, yourgurt, and there were many other items.

Well it's a 2 star hotel and that's what you get.
The Location is perfect. Near everything. Rooms are a good size. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

A supervisor yelled yet her housekeeping employee in front of me pretty rudely.. she was wrong and eneded up apologizing her. The supervisor should understand that guest doesn't have to experience internal issues. One employee in breakfast room was pretty rude and pushed me a little to get to his area. He was rude to most guests. Bathroom faucet would leak and keep the top wet at times. Had to keep towels around it. Drawer was sticky and dirty. I could use only one after wiping it down. Private parking included but it was not disclosed that there is a charge per night. Front desk staff may need to create a better smile or greeting culture in lobby for checked in guest and not have blank look. Besides these minor things the stay was great and may come back again.
The room was overall clean, amenities were plenty, breakfast was great. Location is 'Best'... state park and all the available food around the area were in minutes walking distance. Staff was friendly. Plenty of parking. Atmosphere inside was calm and welcoming. Plenty of lamps and natural light in room. Fast cheking in and out.

There is no room service. We need to get everything from the lobby. Unfortunate thing happened to us is the unwanted amount debited from my card twice after we left the hotel; Including the security deposit that’s debited twice. So please take care of that and make sure the amount is credited to your account and not debited. We had a few conversations after that and no one was even apologising for their mistake except one manager who talked to us last. Hope we will get back our money soon.
Location is excellent. It’s just opposite to the state park. They have a coffee machine near the Lobby that’s accessible all the time. Breakfast is good.

Since we were there during off-season, it was very difficult to find a place to dine-in. Only pizza was available. Very limited options for breakfast and re-filling is at very low phase.
Location is excellent. Very close to the fall. Also, just 100m to Flexi-Bus halt. Room was really nice, clean and comfy. Hotel was able to give us a room with a view of fall and Canada boarder line. We stayed two nights and enjoyed very much.
