We arrived very late at night after a long flight from Nevada. Checking in was problematic because our room door keys didnt work despite three trips to reception to have them fixed, and one visit to our room from a technician who also couldn't fix the problem. We were told that another technician who might be able to sort the key situation would be along in about 30 minutes if we wanted to wait, or we could change rooms. As it was so late we thought that moving rooms would be the best idea BUT the reception person said that the new room was a different type of room from what we had originally been given. When we asked if we could see the new room quickly before deciding to move we were told that this was not allowed as it was not hotel policy. Considering that the key problem was not of our making and had already taken so long not to be fixed, this policy seems a strange way of helping us.

Only one reading light and it wasn’t bright enough. Room was pretty small for the money. No senior discount. Mattress was very soft. No drawer space. Tacky lobby. Have to get up ridiculously early to get breakfast.

Slow lifts in the morning and ridiculously busy breakfast area. This hotel needs extra floor for making breakfast bearable.

The elevators were always busy during breakfast time.

Amazing location, super clean rooms, helpful staff. However very strict with checkin time 3pm. Very close to metro stations, rooms very clean, breakfast was good. Room had safebox, hairdryer and coffee maker.

The staff was supportive and courteous and they helped me with my request to upgrade my room to sky view. They did it for 2 nights free of charge.

There was one minor inconvenience that I encountered. Unfortunately, my room was located near the elevator, and at times, I did notice some noise coming from it. Although it wasn't overly disruptive, it did occasionally disturb the peace and quiet of the room.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at HP, and it was truly a delightful experience. From the moment I arrived, the friendly staff made me feel incredibly welcome. The location of the hotel couldn't have been better; it was conveniently situated near all the attractions I wanted to visit, making it easy for me to explore the area without any hassle. One of the highlights of my stay was definitely the breakfast. The spread offered was not only delicious but also varied, catering to all tastes and dietary preferences. It was the perfect way to start each day of my trip.

I would prefer if our room had a better view, for example onto the front road instead of the side of the building.

The room was comfortable, the breakfast had a good variety, great quality. The employees were very polite.

It's a comfortable hotel, it has the right things you can expect on that range of price in NY.

The room was vey comfortable and spacious. The bathroom too. We asked for a room with a view and the staff was gentle to satisfy us.

Breakfast was very busy every day we were there and you need to find yourself a table, somedays we cleared and cleaned the table too. However, we always managed to get one. We enjoyed the bacon breakfast the most yet we only had bacon once in four days.

Breakfast was a great start to the day, and a bonus being included in the rate, as New York is a very expensive city nowadays. Nothing fancy but good coffee, juice, toast, muffins, etc. The room was surprisingly small but spotlessly clean with a great view of downtown Manhattan and very comfortable bed. Great housekeeping! Really appreciated coming back to a cleaned room after a day out.

The elevators are a nightmare! Had to walk 33 floors because I waited over 15 min and they didn’t show up or came too full. During mornings the wait is very very annoying. Also breakfast is not good.

The linen trolley was parked outside our room and hindered access. The elevators were slow to arrive at busy times

Noisy air conditioner.

Nice hotel, excellent location, great view. Clean and comfortable. The room was good size. Good breakfast with multiple choices. Friendly and helpful staff.
