Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Nothing in particular. We did not have breakfast at the hotel so cannot comment on that.
The location is convenient especially if you're looking to drive and need parking. The hotel does not have parking but there is a multi-storey parking garage close by. The room was an acceptable size. The bathroom was decent.

There were night time roadworks outside on one night but I guess it's one off. The aircon fan was a bit abrupt so I switched off the aircon, which worked ok. I wish that the bathroom had a lock on the door.
Really nice clean, modern and well designed room and all the facilities. Good value for money.

We were very happy with our experience. The room was quite small but ideal and the bathroom was spacious and clean.

No complaints. We really enjoyed our stay
The only meal we ate at the hotel, in the Half Moon Cafe, was our daily breakfast. It was very filling and tasty. The staff at the hotel were very efficient, knowledgeable and helpful. The location was great for walking to many sights in Manhattan. There were metro stations close by as well. The hotel had many safety measures i.e. safe in room, elevator use only with room key, etc. However the area in general is safe to walk around during the day and evening.

All. The room, the service, the kindness, the cleaning and of course the location. High quality hotel, everything is very new and well maintained. The size of the rooms is ideal, the furnishings are perfect, the beds are comfortable and large.

Not the "perfect" location for us based on what plans we had but great for those who want to be near the WTC, Eataly Downtown, the memorial or business in the financial district. Eataly is three blocks away and well worth the walk.
Super clean hotel, lived up to the reviews on this. Was able to check in early but hotel charged an extra fee for this (but we did get two breakfast vouchers in return). Found breakfast to be extremely reasonable for NYC. Coffee only one morning was $3.27 before tip. I'm still thinking they made a mistake!

Great location, team on reception very helpful. Small but clean gym. Room great view on 26th floor of Trinity Church. Very quite at night despite central location. Beds and linen really high quality. Slept so well.

The hotel has very good location in the Financial district - Trinity Church, Wall street, WTC, 9/11 Memorial, ferries to Statue of Liberty, Lower Manhattan, Chinatown can be reached on foot. Several subway stations of different lines nearby. Oculus has a direct subway station to JFK Airport (E line). Very comfortable large beds, refrigerator, safe, ironing board, iron in the room. The hotel has a cafe for breakfast and lunch (for an additional fee). There is also a microwave at the reception for hotel guests.

Not the best value for money. Rooms are super expensive to start with and they charge €5 per bag for luggage storage on the day of departure. An absolute ripoff considering they don’t even touch your bag, we were instructed to roll them in and out of the storage room. They advertised pay on arrival but charge your card the day before anyway and then charge you more for safety deposit. 1 of the many receptionist were abrupt and rude on our arrival.

It was such an awesome experience! The room is very clean with an excellent view of trinity church. It is so well connected with metro, in its radius there are about 7-8 subway exits and entries. The bed is super comfortable and the rooms are quiet and not obstructed with the outside noise !!

They will charge you for storaging your bags after checkout. My flight was at night but checkout was at 11am so I had to pay.
Very clean. Comfortable bed. Subway was right outside.
