You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

VenezuelaNobody read the messages from Booking.com. My partner tried to pay (he arrived earlier) but they refused (his name was in the message in Booking.com) There was not pans and pots to use in the kitchen (I have to buy some) I arrived about 10 pm (which I informed by leaving a message when I booked) Nobody was waiting to give me the key, so I was left out the first nigh and I have to arranged another hotel at 10pm (which I was not happy with) despite this the staff was friendly the day after and sorted my payment due to the inconvenience (but this was not the point). I think it should be staff 24 hours in the reception to avoid problems and bad reviews. There were other people trying to reserve and book a room but the opening/closing times in the reception are crazy (they could do a lot more if they are interested to give a service and sell their rooms). Be aware of the opening and closing times as you may be left out like I was.

United States of AmericaI went on vacation to relax but it was a bad experience first What they showed you in the internet is nothing compared of what they give you. The room was dirty it looks like you came from the beach and leave all the sand in the floor the carpets was full of stains the lamp didn’t worked and they where full of dust the amount of dust it was like no one dusted since they where put. The stove didn’t work either, the room also have cockroaches ,the bed where so uncomfortable that you couldn’t sleep i wouldn’t recommend this property to no one

Young man was good help he show assist me with a lot of stuff that I needed. I don’t kno know his name but he did customer service really good. I also left a tip for the housekeepers. BrazilI did my booking a couple months ago for 2 nights and everything looked great. But when I arrived in the hotel, they said my reservartion couldn't happen, because the hotel policies changed for July and they would just accepted booking per a week! WTH they didn't said me it in advance! Days before my trip, I received message from them with the confirmation of my booking! Although the hotel mistake, they didn't give me a solution and I needed alone to find another place after 18h of travel! It wasn't fair! And I will never forget that humiliation!
The location is great, but I couldn't stay there, because of an unfair situation as I describe in the sequence.

United States of AmericaWe didn't like the cockroaches in the room. The room was infested with cockroaches and bugs every morning. Also, we never could get a hold of the staff. The hours for staff always started at 11am and finished at 5pm so we could never talk to anyone. The over night person was the security guard who was nice and helpful but he could only help so much. He would alway say that we had to talk to the day management people who were not there in the early morning.
We liked the location of the room and the stove that was in the room.
