Absolutely outstanding, never forget, location, subway outside the door, almost every attractions 5-10 min walk, the staff brilliant- helpful every way, clean!! , coffee/tea free in the morning, 5-6 o’clock free glass of wine, bed so so comfortable (I have problem with sleep here 0 problems)

Not about our stay that we didn't like. We did have two hiccups while we stayed (the noisy adjoining room by the elevator and our air conditioning stopped working one day). But in great customer experience, these concerns were very quickly addressed by the team. It is this sort of service that demonstrates a true level of care....quick and efficient, and nothing a problem.

After lots of research we chose the Kimpton Theta Hotel, its combination of reviews, location, and interior style being part of our decision. Our room was spacious. (We changed rooms after our 1st night as we were by the elevator and was adjoining room and it was noisy, but the hotel team accommodated our request for a room change very promptly, in fact that next morning we moved) The hotel has a 'mix and mingle' over a complimentary glass of wine in the evenings. It was popular with ourselves and the other guests. They also had complimentary drip coffee to get you started in the mornings. We stayed for a week, and we begun to feel like it was home. The staff are the best here! friendly and relaxed. Did I mention the cool mid century interior styling!

The last night of our stay we couldn't sleep due to the rowdiness of the people in the next room. They were extremely loud and it continued to about 2:00AM.

The hotel was in close proximity to the theaters which was what we wanted. The room hotel was very clean and the staff was wonderful. It was a nice touch to have wine between 5-6:00. I would come back again!

Very clean and the staff was attentive. ! The location was perfect. Only a few blocks from Times Square and very close to Broadway. There is also a subway stop one block away which was great! We will stay at the Hotel Theta again the next time we are in NYC!

Variations in terms of staff friendliness. Complimentary coffee was served in the morning but tasted really bad.

Room is relatively compact which is typical for NYC, only wished there were one or two chairs in the room to sit on, rather than having to sit in bed all the time. Not a big problem at all.

Location is super convenient, close to Times Square and broadway. Room is clean, modern the beds are very comfortable. Most importantly the staffs are very helpful.

The strike plate on the bathroom door was sticking out so sometimes the door had to be adjusted to close and the temp of the water in the shower would go from really hot to cool without moving the knob. (Rm 1212, did not report this issue b/c fairly insignificant)

Charges 100$ per person during check in, without knowing, which is deducted at the end of the stay. Strange use of the shower.

Great stay. Very nice room, fantastic beds. Brand new bathroom with nice big TV screen. Excellent location in between of Times Square and Central Park. Very close to nearby restaurants and coffee shops.
