We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

United States of AmericaThe indoor pool and some restaurants were closed, which we were not informed about ahead of time. The door on our room was also a little difficult to open and shut.
The variety of food and entertainment options at the resort made for a more relaxing vacation for us, since we did not have to plan and travel offsite for meals.

United States of AmericaI had mentioned that it was our anniversary when I booked our room. We try to return most years to celebrate and in the past…the Kingsmill has always made us feel special. Sadly, this year we didn’t experience any perks but it was still quite an enjoyable stay.
It’s a quiet location with tasteful decor. The staff is always kind and the resort has a lovely golf course.

The property was very nice and peaceful . My husband and I enjoyed having morning coffee on the patio of our room. He loved to playing golf. Customer service was on point!!! The food was pretty good at all of the restaurants. It was a birthday weekend trip and I was even serenaded by one of the staff. My husband and I got massages at the spa. The staff was wonderful.

United States of AmericaMy overall experience was great. There were only a few things that i was not satisfied with. I did not like that there was no chain lock/dead bolt on the front door. My 1 year old son kept opening the door and trying to run out the room. it was very stressful for me. Also the back door would not securely lock. So I did not feel very safe at night. Lastly, my children slept on the pull out couch during our stay. Our first night I pulled the cousions back and there was dog/cat hair all over the couch. My daughter Is allergic to dogs which is why I had great concern. But I called the office and maintenance/housekeeping came and cleaned it all up for me plus gave me $100 dollar discount.
My family and I loved the lazy river at the pool. I love the bar/restaurant at the pool area. Great food there! But a little expensive. I like how there are multiple pools on the property. When the river pool was too crowded we went to the other pool and we were the only ones there! I like how they provided a playpen/crib for my 1 year old son because I forgot his. I like that I was given a number to call or text 24/7 if I needed assistance or needed more linen. I really like how they provide free transportation to and from anywhere on the property. The views were very nice. It was very quiet and peaceful. The large shower with 2 shower heads inside our room was awesome. I was able to shower all 3 of my children at the same time. I love how kitchen necessities were provided like pots and pans so I could cook a nice meal for my family and eat dinner at the large dining room table. Overall everything was great.

United States of AmericaValue is very disproportionate based on how much you are paying. All the extras that are not included in the advertised price, such as breakfast, resort fees, etc., can add up quickly. Don't be surprised if you end up having an extra couple hundred dollars or more on your bill at check out. Also, the front desk employees I interacted with all seemed annoyed or inconvenienced by my presence. I'm sure not all of them are this way, but it made for an uncomfortable check in and check out process for my family.
Facilities are clean and well maintained. The majority of the employees I interacted with were pleasant and extremely accommodating. One of the days at the River Pool the resort put on a tie dye event for anyone who was interested and our daughter got to make her own shirt. We also spent one day at Busch Gardens and it was only a 5 minute drive to get there from our room.

United States of AmericaI didn’t like how my sister and I had a false alarm? go off at 6am. I overheard one of the workers saying it was coming from x room but he didn’t see anything. Also, all night, a dog was barking and I wish people with pets could be separated or something… Lastly, some of the staff was kind and friendly, but when my sister and I first were coming through the gate, she didn’t see the small signs of which lane to be in and went into the wrong lane. The officer at the gate was very rude and treated us like we were stupid because of this. There was a lot of “attitude” from her for a small mistake. The following day, we tried to go fishing and there was no staff in the marina area for a good 10-15 minutes even though we got there at 9:45am ish and they open at 9:00am.
I love the scenery and the options of things to do in the area and on the property. This is my childhood resort that my father loves so I have a lot of great memories here.

They don’t clean the room during your stay unless you pay them . kingsmill did comp me for the washer being broken, but were hesitant about saying they were going to replace the washer. Pool needs to be open later. It closes at 8pm. Would have loved to have a drink and hang out at the river pool after the sun goes down. Love the property, but I am disappointed with the direction the resort is going in. First time I stayed it was absolutely amazing and has slowly gone down hill over the last 5 years.
Love the River Pool and the feel of the Resort. Closeness to Busch Gardens and Water Country.
