Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaOur breakfast was amazing, delicious! Our host made us feel very special. Her Polish "pancakes" were the best. Homemade jams,,Polish style "blintzes" on another morning. Wonderful coffee. Pet friendly. Lovely area to take a walk or hike. Sweet pony in the pasture and very friendly dog and cat. Children's play area outside. Raised garden beds. Attention to being environmentally friendly. Books and interesting art everywhere. The rooms are decorated all very differently and with care. You feel like you have traveled abroad. This B and B is a gem and is very close to Lake Cayuga and wine and biking trails. Homemade soaps and sauna. Ponds and plants. Lovely!

United States of Americauntil we got there, I am a bit worried because it's kind of remote, no stores nor restaurants etc. were around. But actually nice to be in nature and we could access main sightseeing spots from 20 minuets to 1 hour drive. We are ok with it.
more than we expected, nice room with necessary things & facility. The owner is very kind and friendly. Breakfast is also testy and healthy. It's more fun for 4 of us to share 2 bedroom with kitchen than 2 hotel rooms.

United States of AmericaWater in the shower and bathroom sink smells swampy. Tea and cofe water is fine. Light at the winter garden stays on overnight and shines through the internal window directly into your eyes (we were staying in the first-floor room).
Very nice and friendly owner Wanda. Very clean place. It's rather a house, than a hotel. Breakfast was cooked just for us and it was a delicious home-style polish cuisine. We would definitely stay here again.

United States of AmericaWish the bathroom had shower and not just tub/hand held wand. Otherwise the accommodations were perfect for our needs.
Breakfast was home cooked and delicious, Apple pancakes and eggs one day and cheese blintz another day. The rooms where spacious and private. Very clean. Convenient for visiting college student in area and made it feel like a weekend retreat and got to enjoy more of the area.

United States of AmericaOur stay was absolutely perfect, though I would recommend that if you are not planning to use the jacuzzi tub, book a room with a regular shower, as using the shower in the tub was a little challenging! Also, filling the tub with warm water was a bit of a process (though that may have been due to the weather during our stay).
My partner and I travelled to the area to attend the Apple Harvest Festival in Ithaca, as well as to explore the area. Log Country Inn was the perfect home base for us during our trip - the Inn is located in a gorgeous and peaceful area, and was a welcome site for us to return to after busy days of exploring. And the star of the stay was undoubtedly the breakfast - we are still dreaming about the blintzes and apple pancakes we had during our stay!

The property was beautiful. There were beautiful gardens everywhere you looked. The cabin was recently done and looked stunning. The inside was just as beautiful as the outside with hard wood floors, air conditioners in every room, and beautiful wooden ceilings and walls.

United States of AmericaThis is not so much a negative but more of a candid mention: the secondary home is a very old school/original cabin and does not have modern fixtures. Think of you grandmother’s home from the 1960’s with original bathroom, kitchen, towels and bedding. Since it’s not updated, it might not be for everyone but it IS retro-charming and very original. Everything is in working order, shower has good pressure and is hot, and the mattress is firm. Water has the sulfur smell but that’s the spring water for you that reminds you that you’re in the country.
Breakfast was incredibly filling! One day we had quiche and another day we had blintzes along with fresh vegetables, jams, pastries, and fruit. Coffee is brewed nice and strong. Wanda personally attends to you and even chimes with a little fun conversation. Location is completely rustic. It is so dark and quiet at night that if you happen to wake up in the middle of the night you might forget where you are. We did not stay in the main house but rather in the secondary residence just perpendicular to the main house. We were able to bring our 65 lb. dog with us at no extra charge (dogs are only allowed in the secondary home but allowed in the main home at breakfast time). Wanda loves dogs!

United States of AmericaThe building is new construction, of an old design with modern conveniences. The artistic style and furniture made everything remarkable. We enjoyed the waterfall, right in our bathtub. Amazing place, but even better were our hosts. We loved Ella's potato pancakes and great coffee, interesting conversations with Thomas , and Wanda's library and colorful gardens.

United States of AmericaThere's nothing I didn't like. Perhaps just the fact that I wished I could've booked a longer stay!
Firstly, the hosts make you feel as though you're visiting your family, rather than merely performing a business service. The vibe could not have been any cosier. My room (The Polish Room) was perfectly appointed, lovingly decorated, and felt like a modernised take on Old World charm. It felt more like a château and spa at a ski chalet in the Tatras than a B&B near Ithaca. In addition, the food was beyond superb! Just smelling the food would have been worth the price of admission, but of course you do get to eat plenty as well. It was as though my grandmother had cooked for me (though the presentation was admittedly far better than that of my grandmother). Also, there is plenty of room in the public part of the house to stretch out, read a book, chat with loved ones by the fire, and so on. And the property itself is very charming. Finally, I will definitely return. Honestly, I couldn't imagine having to stay anywhere else around Ithaca. Even if everything I had to do during my stay was in the city of Ithaca, I would still stay here; the drive is lovely. Don't even hesitate; book it now. Cheers!

United States of AmericaMy only recommendation would be to place 2 bottles of water in the fridge in each suite. I needed to take meds and had to find it.
Everything. It was perfect. I enjoyed hearing the owners tell about the history of the cabin. The attention to detail was over the top.
