All was perfect, the only thing is the location, it doesn't feel super safe coming back late in the evening

From the moment we walked into Mont Morris' guest house, we felt at home! Mont was attentive and her home is lovely. Surrounded by interesting and inspiring art, we were able to easily unwind after a day of PT or an evening out. We felt safe in the neighborhood, and found everything we needed within a few blocks. We will definitely stay Soul Food again!

No curtains, so you wake up with the lights. Shower head is too low, if you are higher than 170cm you have to kneel. The room is already small but it also has a high big bed and a giant set of drawers (a bit useless) in the middle that block a lot of space, so you constantly have to move things around and be careful not to bump into something. I felt a bit "trapped". A few hangers on the walls would also help to distribute your clothing. Otherwise the room was comfy.

Very clean, quiet, nice decoration, good internet, good location and quite good value for money (for NY always). I requested a fridge and some extra utensils and they were given to me. Also, the room was cleaned regularly.

Room was superb, really nicely furnished, loads of space, bath was fantastic (especially after running the marathon) and bed was really comfortable. Great location, only a few minutes’ walk from nearest metro and central park. Host was also excellent, very friendly and helpful. Would certainly recommend and be keen to stay again on next visit to New York.

The New York apartment in Harlem was a fantastic find! Its cozy, well-maintained space offered a comfortable retreat in a vibrant neighborhood. Being in the heart of Harlem allowed for easy access to cultural experiences and diverse dining options. The apartment's amenities and friendly host made my stay truly enjoyable. I would gladly return to this charming spot in the future.

While we felt safe walking around the neighborhood, we found out that our friend got his bike stolen just blocks away from the place.

The room was very spacious, and had everything we needed to be comfortable including an air conditioning unit, fan, plenty of towels and bath products. Boothe was super accommodating and sweet to chat with, it was clear she cared a lot about her guests having a good stay.

The detail on the inside of the brownstone was amazing, the room was huge and comfortable, and it was on a safe and quiet street. I came and went often over the course of a 3 night stay, and it was a fantastic location in terms of it being a short walk to the subway and easy to get over to Columbia via Uber as that is where I needed to be for part of the weekend. My room faced the front of the building and I was on the 3rd floor, and I didn't have any noise whatsoever either from outdoors or from others staying at the property.

Everything about this commodation is outstanding especially the facilities that they provide and a very good and excellent spot for someone who wants to have access to Central Park and other areas. A train station which is only 10 minutes walk which can take you to Time Square and One World Observatory easily. Moi was really helpful and can't wait to see you again.

Some noise from the guests above me, but of course that's impossible to avoid. Noise machines are provided which is a very thoughtful touch.

The space is beautiful - tribal art gallery decorations, fresh flowers and vibrant foliage. The host was impeccable with communication and even assisted with last minute extension due to hurricane-related airline delays.
