The $500 hold that was placed which was returned but deducted off of $150 tourism charge which included premium wifi, 2xbottles of water & $10 drink/meal token to use at the restaurant/bar (which we didn’t ask for)

Fantastic views of New York, Staff were excellent and attentive to anything you needed. Room was fully equipped for USB-C and normal USB which is a hassle when travelling so well done Hilton for that. Plenty of storage options and the rooms were cleaned everyday.

Room was small. And I didn’t love that valet parking did not have in and out service. Once you left your car, it had to stay there permanently until checkout.

Comfortable bed, friendly staff. Elevators were a little slow. The view was lovely from the 41st floor, but if you want to come and go quickly, I’d request a lower floor.

The only negative we have is that the aircon was quite loud, but you couldn’t do without it being so high up. However we were so tired walking 12 miles every day that we managed to sleep through it.

We had the most perfect stay, couldn’t have asked for a better location. The view from our room on the 42nd floor was incredible. Bed was so comfy, really nice shower and never had to wait that long for the lift considering we were so high up. Really close to a few subway stations as well.

Sometimes the elevator wait was a tad long, but there are 4 and it was never an issue.

The Chelsea Motto hotel is a fantastic place to stay for a NY trip - located close by to attractions/activities with great rooms and a nice bar/restaurant scene. Aziz is an outstanding manager - he was manning the front desk when I arrived close to midnight after numerous travel delays that had me in a Karen-esq mood. Aziz was so helpful and pleasant - he really changed the mood! A coffee maker kit can be requested and was delivered quickly. The restaurant is open air but with an enormous clear overhead protection so high up you don’t notice it! The shower has a foot shelf for shaving legs! Plenty of shelf space in the bathroom and lots of drawers in the room. I got the last room available which was a bunk bed room. Might be fun for a bachelorette group to share.

The walls are thin and there were doors between other rooms (locked ofc) so I kept hearing my neighbors talking in the middle of the night and had to use earplugs.

Location is very good - short walking distance to metro stations and very close to flatiron district and madison square park. Staff was very friendly.

I never like the new sliding doors on the bathrooms. No privacy! Other than that ? Love.

Everything was good until it was time to checkout, the person at the checkout desk was found to be bit rude not sure why! Not a single time he asked how was our stay? Since it was our first time trying this hotel. Wanted to let him know about air conditioning being so loud and turning on and off constantly? Couldn’t sleep well. Then we were trying to inquire about our car we had Valet but weren’t ready to pickup the car yet we needed something from the car, he is telling us it’ll be $92 for them to park it back. Instead of saying we could just walk to the car and get what we needed which was established later on. However the person who checked us in was extremely polite and helpful I can’t remember his name.

While I understand the reason for eco-friendly lighting, the only reason I would not stay here again is because the motion sensorsed lighting made getting ready for work very difficult, as I kept having to wave my arms to keep the lights on. I’d recommend being able to adjust the length of time before lights dim, or more sensitive sensors that keep the lights on when a person is there.
