The price very high and breakfast unavailable. Also, there is no water kettle, so you can’t prepare coffee or tea in the room.

It is very clean. Has shampoo, soap, great towels, comfortable beds and bedding, amazing view of the city.

Central location but conveniently a little bit away from the craziness that is Time Square. Everything at this hotel works. The staff are kind and friendly. It’s not noisy. Very good.

The room was very clean (they changed the sheets of the cushions every day - for that itself we will come back) and the staff was very helpful and friendly, even late at night. A big plus is that the hotel stores the luggage in the back after checkout for no extra charge. The elevators were working fast and so there was never a long waiting time to get in. Very safe area so coming back late is not a problem. The location is excellent (close to Madison Square Garden, Union Station and Times Square). We will surely come back again.

Room wasn't ready at check in. Never received the text message that the room was ready. Murphy bed in the flex room wouldn't lock in place so we couldn't use the furniture. No fan/ventilation in bathroom. Mini fridge was not cold enough.

Great location and clean room. Tv remote controlled all the lights which was a cool feature. Nice view on the 29th floor.

I loved the shower gel and shampoo of Motto - it had a minty feel which was super comforting when showering after a long day's walk, it's a very thoughtful touch. The room is comfortable, bed is ok - wished there were options for a firmer pillow though. We also went a few days out of NYC and asked them to keep our bigger luggages since we will be coming back to Motto - which they agreed with - this is very much appreciated so we didnt have to worry about lugging all our things. The staff was also kind to my 11 yo son who took it upon himself to get the water from the FD everyday. Overall good stay at Motto - will definitely recommend to others.

rooms are very small - but i think this is a standard for NY. I also tried to book a car service to pick us up from the hotel, but on the day itself we were contacting them but no reply until very late and we were already in the hotel. They tried to comp us with free breakfast & some chocolates which was very much appreciated, however the hassle was still a problem.

Location was very good for me - quite convenient, a few mins walk to Bryant Park, Flat Iron, etc. Subway is 1 street down from the hotel. There's a supermarket near & Trader Joe's in 22nd St.

Great spot. Nicely decorated. Lively. Clean. Staff from the front desk to the bar to the restaurant to the cleaning staff always greeted you with a smile and were eager to help.

Fantastic location, close to train station and very easy to get around by foot to sights nearby. The hotel was modern and clean with great facilities. The daily vouchers to spend at the hotel each day were also a nice touch. We stayed in one of the entry level rooms, which were small and basic but is to be expected in NYC! The bed was large and very comfortable. Would rebook to stay in this hotel again.

The only thing that I would improve was the noise of the ventilation system: each time it was triggered it made quite a lot of noise, and some of us would be awakened at night... not all of us though.

Good looking hotel: stylish with good taste, well built, comfortable. Well located: by foot or by public transport, the entire NYC is at your doorstep. Oh my, them views! We were lucky enough to be at the 38th floor and the views over the city were simply stunning!

My only negative would be the cost. It was New Year's eve and very expensive. Maybe if you booked last minute you could have got it at a discount. The lifts are a bit slow.

We stayed here for 3 days over New Year. The hotel is very nice and the staff are lovely. Each room gets 2 bottles of water included per day and also a $10 voucher to put towards coffee, a drink, breakfast etc. We had 2 rooms both with one huge bed and a single bed above. The rooms are well planned with a lot of storage etc. Both our rooms had corner windows which gave a nice view of Manhattan. It worked well for our family arrangement. The hotel is in a good location and only a short walk from the subway. We didn't eat at the hotel but the bar was good!

The air conditioning was very loud and the sliding door of the bathroom didn’t really close properly but other that we loved everything.

Fantastic location Very friendly staff and the Lulla restaurant was amazing! I had the best service and best avocado toast there. They have a shuttle for the airport which was 80 for 4 people which was very convenient for our family. The rooms are small but beds are very comfortable. There is a lounge area on the 2nd floor that was great to hang around with friends.Overall we had a fantastic stay.
