Our room was small and facing the driveway, so not much of a view. Luckily the other guests woke up the same time as us, the room is practically facing the breakfast area and could have potentially be very noisy because if it.

The house and restoration was done very thoughtful and the House is very comfortable. Breakfast is an honor system if needed you can eat cereal in the middle of the night. Everything was very, very clean. The mattress was very comfortable and it was very quiet. I highly recommend the property.

As stated above, this type of accommodation appears to be bead and breakfast, but breakfast part is not there the way it should be in B&B, more like in any regular motel.

It’s an interesting property- historic what would be normally bed and breakfast ( breakfast part was lacking).

Beautiful old house. Exceptionally clean and comfortable. We loved the attention to detail of the older construction with modern amenities. The contactless check in went smoothly. We would definitely stay here again.

The self-serve breakfast was sub-par, especially for the price paid. All processed food full of sugar. Breakfast could be improved by providing plain yogurt, unsweetened oatmeal, a variety of fruit, unsweetened cereal and wheat bread.

We entered with a keypad so there wasn't any staff upon our arrival and didn't see anyone during our stay. Everything we needed was there so it was alright, we just felt a little weird not talking to anyone lol.

Since we were the only ones staying there, I think they forgot to over see the simple continental breakfast for our second morning. There was no cream or milk in the frig. Everything else was perfect.

The room and house were charming. The room was comfortable and all the amenities were just right.

The breakfast was all pre-packaged self-serve so not great or nutritious, but at least there was some yogurt and milk for vegetarians. There was a microwave you can use, but we were not allowed to cook on the range, which was a disappointment. The room we had was on the parking lot side and the compressor for the building next door went on several times during the night and it was loud so I was awakened at least 4 times during the night, so I didn't get a great sleep. We had a weird experience, in the middle of the night, at around 1 am, some guy who was also staying there, punched in a code and opened the door to our room! He realized his mistake and left - he seemed drunk. Our door was closed tight, so how was he able to open the door? I suspect the security code system is not so secure. The host was never around, so we never met them.

What a great find! Wonderful B&B in Potsdam. A close drive to Canton. Easy location, convenient serve yourself breakfast. Comfy beds, beautiful decore and functional layouts.
