Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

We were sad that the Swimming pool was still under maintenance but it was reopened the day we left !!
Great location to all the things we wanted to do ! Bush Gardens! Old town Williamsburg! Outlets ! Jamestown and Yorktown !! Super close to Second Street for Fast food and By-Pass to almost everything and Tons of Restaurants!!!

Room is a little dated and bathroom wasn't in great shape. Room was a little loud from the people staying above us.
Good location, convenient to Busch Gardens Williamsburg. Friendly staff. No frills, but everything met expectations and had a good experience. Would recommend.

Outer area could use sprucing up. As a solo female traveler, I was a little nervous arriving alone at night back to the room. There was a police incident across the street one night. Made me nervous about the area. Could hear conversations outside of room. No continental breakfast.
Proximity to the Historic area. Updated very clean room. Fridge and microwave in room. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Friendly and accommodating staff.

There were several broken items in the bathroom. The toilet had major problems (with stability and flushing) and the shower knob was installed "backwards." The hotel was obviously older and did not appear to have had major upgrades.
My room was available when I arrived and the hotel was not too crowded.

Found quite a few hairs on the sheets, however it definitely has been washed before. Lot of hair in the bathroom.

There was no clean-up of the room between the two nights of our stay. However, the front desk was quick to accommodate our request for clean towels. The bathroom is a bit run-down, but we made do. It was mainly a place to sleep around our visit to Colonial Williamsburg.
This hotel is very conveniently located for Colonial Williamsburg which was the purpose of our visit to the city. Restaurants also located close by. The gentleman at the front desk was friendly and helpful.

They advertised free breakfast but upon arrival they have no breakfast. Their excuse was “we haven’t got our venders scheduled yet since Covid.” This was April 2023! There was no coffee maker in my room. when I asked they brought me one. The room was not serviced and I was told they only clean rooms every other day. I asked for additional coffee packets for my room and they said they were out of coffee.

The property showed its age. Grounds and parking lot needed maintenance. The room had numerous paint drops on the floor in the bathroom and paint on the shower tile. In addition, there was a very large piece of plastic and painter’s tape above the sink on the ceiling. The room was nice otherwise. Breakfast was advertised, however, there was no breakfast.
The front desk clerk was extremely friendly and helpful when we checked-in Friday night at 10:00 pm. He gladly gave us some extra coffee for the coffee maker.
