There were two half empty bottles of water in the room when we arrived which felt like the cleaner had rushed their job. We had to leave a note to ask for our shower gel to be topped up as this was empty for 2 days when we got there. The fridge also kept making a really loud noise in the room which woke us up during the night. The luggage staff were also very rough with my suitcase and bent my handle. Minor things!

Great staff. Greta breakfast. We were given a free upgrade when we got there which was a lovely touch.

Initially assigned room was a bit worn down, equipment was missing and the fridge was broken (all issues were resolved by changing rooms though; second room was perfect). Breakfast was crowded and I'd prefer if the hotel would use re-usable silverware instead of disposable plastics.

The view from the rooms is great. Floors for the hotel start at the 35th, so there are almost no rooms without a view. Since our room had a few issues we switched to a new one at the second day of our 4 night stay. The front desk (Victor) was super friendly and handled everything to our fullest satisfaction. This was our first visit to New York and we couldn't have been happier. The location was perfect for getting a first impression of the city, visiting sights, buying groceries and finding something to eat.

The “common parts “ - lobby, breakfast room/bar/ on site restaurant are pretty minimal, and eating in the restaurant in the evening as we did just once, was a bit bleak. But of course the hotel is surrounded by eating places.

You have to spend several minutes waiting for the elevator, especially in the morning.

According to NY standards, the room was large. The view was awesome - the room literally consists of floor-to-ceiling windows. Bathroom was OK, breakfast was good.

Had a great stay at Residence Inn by Marriott New York Manhattan! Perfectly located on 1717 Broadway, it's close to everything. Rooms were spacious, and cleaning was 4/5. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, it is a comfortable and convenient choice for a stay in the city.

The room is a little tight for 2 people plus the luggage. We had to find out a puzzle way to put our stuff.

The room/hotek seemed quite new, considering NYC patterns of old dated hotels with bad smelling carpets. This hotel was clean, comfortable and very well located. It shares the building with other hotel so the lowest floor is 35… So you will definitely have a great city view, which is amazing!!

Breakfast didn’t have a lot of food choice and servers started to take away the food way before the end of the breakfast time window. The shower is designed in such way that water floods the entire bathroom.

- The furniture has seen better days, it looked really worn out. - The room was unfortunately not very clean. There were hair and stains next to the door in the bathroom. In the kitchen the kettle was dirty inside. Also during cleaning they did not clean or replace used mugs. We wouldn't use the dishwasher for 2 mugs for sure...In general, the room felt dusty. - There was no water in the room, which is something I see for the first time in a hotel of this category. - Breakfast was okeyish, but quite boring. Also, they provide breakfast in one time used plates, etc, which is not very sustainable.

- Great location! Approx. 5 min walk to Times Square and Central Park. Next to Broadway. - Nice view from the room. - Comfortable bed. - In breakfast you can grab a snack and coffee if you're in a rush to leave, which is quite nice, especially when you have no time to sit etc.

Using paper plates, plastic cups and cutlery and wrapping everything in plastic at the breakfast didn’t feel right. There should be more emphasis on environmental values today. Another issue, that is less important, was that the toilet door in the room didn’t lock and opened when someone opened the fridge :) we also would have loved a thicker duvet.

Great location, clean room, nice enough breakfast. The hotel felt safe and was quiet. The staff were friendly snd gave us a delayed checkout upon request.

The hotel looked like it necessitated an overall refurbishment. Moreover, you cannot use the moquette anymore in 2024. Everyone knows it is not hygenic. Should you decide to use it anyway, then it has to be cleaned very well evey day.

Rooms can use a refresh, such as new paint, lamp shades, etc. Pillows were way too soft. Bathroom didn’t really offer much privacy with only one sliding door.

View, excellent view from the 41st floor. Corner room, so had a view of the Hudson river and the New Jersey Shore. Studio room with sink, fridge and a small kitchenette. a nice stay.
