Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe traffic and subway noise from the road and Manhattan Bridge can be quite loud.
Very happy that we stayed in the Lower East Side on the fringe of Chinatown. From the hotel it is a short walk to China town and to Little Italy, the East Broadway subway station is close by and there are nice lively bars within minutes. The hotel is clean and the staff are helpful friendly and polite, very professional. There's always coffee available in the lobby and the hotel was experimenting with a free glass of wine for guests returning to the hotel in the early evening. I was surprised that the World Trade Centre was reasonably easy to walk to, so although LES it is very convenient for visiting the rest of Manhattan. I would definitely consider staying here again.

IrelandResort fees, although cheap by NY standards, not a resort, and you're paying $20 a day for coffee in the lobby and water. Still reasonably priced by New York standards though.
Nice hotel, nice room, good view. Not really close to metro, but a few minutes walk. And in a less touristy earlier, more local New York. Great view (from bathroom), nice staff.

This hotel is in a great location in NYC LES/Chinatown, very near the subway and Soho etc. I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, the shower was great and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. I would def stay here again. Thank you!

IrelandIt is beside a fire station so you can often hear sirens going off at any time but we weren’t particularly disturbed by the noise. The rooms are very small and there was no space to put away clothes etc.
Great location, close to subway stops and plenty of restaurants nearby. The room was small but the bed was very comfortable and the hotel was really quiet. It was great value for money and easy to get to and from.

United States of AmericaThree out of five pillows smell like bad body odor. Tells you something about how they often clean their bedding. Room is small, but in Manhattan and with this price what can you ask for.
Excellent location, close to all transportations, close to Chinatown and all the cheap food but still nice and quite. Nice staffs, willing to help. Very affordable price, considering price elsewhere in Manhattan. Clean enough.

GermanyThe room had no closets to put the clothes away, but that was not a big deal for me. Also, I wish there was more than one duvet - some nights were cold.
The room was well isolated from the outside noise. The cleaning crew came every day and refilled our coffee and snacks. They had an adapter in the room, which was very useful for our European plugs. Considering it's NY, the room was quite spacious and on a great location.

NetherlandsThe only downpoint was that the noise. YOu could hear the other guests if they were talking a bit too loud, and you could hear the cars on the street as well, but it didn't bother me that much.
The bed was very comfy. When i arrived the room was heated, which was pleasant, since it was very cold outside. The staff was very kind and was at your beck and call. The bathroom was very clean, nice view, the shower felt amazing...

United States of AmericaNo refrigerator. I know it wasn’t offered or listed as an amenity but it would have been nice to have a mini fridge to store our leftovers and milk for my child.
Overnight staff was kind and helpful. Our original room smelled like cigarette smoke and the young male employee with dark hair quickly resolved the problem by offering a different room. The alternate room worked out better because it was easier to get our stroller in and out of the building.

AustriaYou have to pay for a luggage storage. i think it was 3$ for a big bag and 2$ for a small. Which is not much, but you need cash.
Hotel provides free coffee 24hrs. The staff is really nice, the room was big and had proper heating. Location is nice in china town not far away from Brooklyn and Manhattan bridge.

ChileRooms are kind of small, which I understand as this is a big city, so it was a little bit tight for us travelling with a stroller and a car seat. But still it was a great stay.
I liked this Hotel. Housekeeping team do a great job keeping rooms cleans. Bathroom has a heater, it was nice to have a warm bathroom during cold winter. Soap and Shampoo are liquid and provided in wall containers, not those small sachets. Beds were nice. There are more than one Subway station near the Hotel, so you are well connected. We arrived and left by Train. It is next to Chinatown, plenty of good chinese food around, this was great. We love walking, so we walked everywhere from here: Brooklyn bridge, Katz, Joe and Pats, Williamsburg, etc. Smart TV in room, so youtube was available to entertain our child while in the room resting. Coffee, Tea and hot water available 24 hours. Front desk people were really nice. Deposit got refunded fast.

First I thought the room is too small and simple, but then I found out that they actually have everything I need. The staff were friendly, and in the end I found the place quite cozy. The value for money is quite good for this location, in my opinion.
