Good location on 79th very close to the tube station and bus stop. Room has everything in it. Small kitchenette available at the lobby with free tea, coffee and microwave. Also filtered water available to refill the bottle

The system for getting the TV working was confusing for us low-tech types. Not the fault of the hotel, but there was overnight filming happening directly outside the window, with huge klieg lights shining in. More substantial curtains/shades would have been appreciated.

Excellent location at W. 80th and Riverside, just a few blocks from the 79th St. Metro (1 line). Extremely accommodating staff allowed us to check-in a bit early and also helped with extending the stay one night. Although small, the rooms appeared to have been recently remodeled, very well designed and good use of space, big window with view of Riverside Park and the river. Comfortable bed. Quiet. Very clean. Bathroom with water efficient features that worked well (including the shower). Unexpected and nice lobby area with plenty of tables and coffee/tea setup in the morning.

Manager: The check-in process began positively with a helpful receptionist. However, the experience took a turn when the manager, speaking from the breakfast area, intrusively instructed the receptionist to charge me $50 for an early check-in, even though I only wanted to drop off my suitcase. After realizing I was not interested in paying the fee, the manager approached me directly and allowed early access to the room at no extra charge. This interaction felt rude and unprofessional. Room: The room lacks adequate soundproofing; noises from the adjacent rooms and corridor were clearly audible. Additionally, the room is quite small, making it challenging to move with a large suitcase for two people. The old windows do not seal properly, letting in drafts of cold air. This was particularly uncomfortable as the bed was positioned right next to the window.

Location: The property boasts an excellent location with a stunning river view, conveniently situated less than a five-minute walk from the subway. Room: The room is well-equipped with all necessary amenities and features a very comfortable bed, ensuring a pleasant stay.

The elevator could have been more up to date, one elevator was not working most of our stay.

Minor quibbles: very slow elevator; more noise infiltration from the hallway than I'd have liked (but this only hpappend a few times).

The location is excellent, a short walk from the #1 subway, Fairway, Citarella, and Zabar's. The hotel is clean and sports a sleek, minimalist design. My room was quite small but laid out with "tiny house" efficiency; had an excellent, firm bed; and offered a great view over Riverside Park. Staff were very accommodating. Given the location and price, I was very pleased.

I have never seen an elevator so tiny and the rooms are just as small. But extremely clean!

It was a bit noisy, as we got the room with the window to the interior part if the building and there were a lit of pipes. We constantly heard a noisy kind id “ventilation” noise, which was annoying especially during the night. Also, no closet in the room was a surprise…

Mayby it is possible to attach something like one or two fold-out seat(s) on the wall to make it possible to sit in your room besides on your bed. Area between the bed and window may be cleaned a little better, but I understand this will not be done every day.

Although the room was very small, as indicated and shown on the pictures and had no place to sit (but the bed), the bed was good and the shower was excellent. A quiet room and with the window open minimum inconvenience from traffic (early in the morning and at night very quiet neigbourhood, the rest of our days we spend in Ney York city :-)). In the lobby are some tables and chairs you can use and they had coffe or tea for us (after asking). Staff was very friendly and always fast in opening the door. Subway is at walking distance (79th street) and the busstop (I believe M5) is nearby. Our bed was made every day except saturday and we received plenty of clean towels.

The rooms were very small but we knew it while booking the room so it was not a surprise. Worth to have a smaller but fresh room for the convenient price.

The staff was helpful and friendly, rooms were newly renovated, we had a river-view room. The location was very nice, calm neighborhood but also close to Central Park, and also we enjoyed cafes and bars on nearby Amsterdam Avenue and walked to center.

Lady at the front desk read out loud my credit cards number and security code when i was trying to pay for late check out. There was other people next to the front desk and due to this i had to cancel my card since i did not feel comfortable using the card after that
