Since we had an unexpected incident with our flight from Europe, resulting in a significant delay, I informed the hotel via the Booking chat that our check-in will be delayed for a couple of hours and a further update will be also provided to them as soon as we arrive at NY. Although i received a reply that our request was duly noted and I notified them, as promised, when we landed at the NY airport (4 hours later than the expected flight arrival), when we finally arrived at the hotel around 3am, the receptionist's first words were that we should have called to inform them, while a no show fee was applied. In addition, due to no show, our free taxi from the hotel did not arrive to take us from the airport to hotel and so we had to take another one and bear the respective cost. Fortunately, since the room was not booked by anyone else, the issue with the no show resolved immediately and the no show charge was cancelled. For your consideration, a coffee machine can also be a great addition to the rooms.

Excellent location in the city center, next to various metro stations, coffee shops, restaurants, Times Square, Broadway as well as Central Park. Our room was in the corner and was considerably isolated from city noise. It had a nice decoration, view and was very spacious. The bed and closet were also amazing and above our expectations.

The airco is really really noisy, and wakes you up at night. There is no proper restaurant for breakfast and dinner. There were no amenities in the room, I had to ask the front desk for it and they only gave us 3 towels for 4 people. I had to ask several times to get a 4th towel. They were helpful if you asked them. However, I had to ask them to refill the empty bottles of soap, shampoo and conditioner.

The location was perfect if you want to visit NYC. Most of the staff was very friendly. The beds were very comfortable. The hotel looks beautiful.

Place could be cleaner, especially for the price and four stars. Bathroom fixture was missing the "cold" button.

Design is better than most hotels.. Great style and ambiance, friendly and helpful staff.

They have a coffee bar, but no restaurant. We had some issues with our AC. The manager told us they are re-working their air system, and it should be updated shortly.

If you're looking to be in the very center of NYC, this is a perfect place to stay. Less expensive than the 4 stars nearby, with larger rooms than those offer. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. Our room was quiet, we were on the 2nd floor facing busy 8th street, and there was no street noise in the room. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. If you are familiar with the Locke Hotels in the UK and EU, this is VERY similar. Modern and beautifully decorated with access to a gym and City Bikes. Location, as mentioned is in the center. You can walk to Times Square, Central Park, Madison Ave, Broadway, etc. Access to train lines C and E one block from the hotel. Most parts of NY are a 10 min train from here, and Brooklyn is about 20-30 min train from here.

Location location location. It's near the theatre district and time square but still far enough that it's not super busy. Surrounding restaurants are awesome. The bed is super comfortable. The room is bigger than what you are used to in NYC.

Water pressure wasn't the most amazing in the shower, but the bathroom was nice, efficient and modern. No bathrobes.

Really inviting and nicely modern hotel in a convenient location that's just far enough from the madness of Times Square but still really central to many things (and a block from the CE train). King corner deluxe room was one of the biggest I've seen in New York. Comfortable, well-appointed.

The rooms are in no way sound proofed so you can hear everyone/anyone in the corridors, as well as a repetitive banging sound at night and in the morning (could be doors slamming). Paint was peeling from the ceiling in the bathroom. There is no way to remove/keep the bath plug up so as you’re showering the water rises at your feet/ankles, so you’re effectively standing in dirty water. You then have to stand and hold the plug up for the water to drain away. Aware from reading reviews beforehand that tea/coffee facilities not provided in the room as they want to encourage people to use the onsite shop, however the coffee is terrible and it was very expensive. We left our suitcases in storage on checkout, before going to the airport later, however the concierge was helping someone when we arrived to collect them. We approached two reception staff who told us to wait, 15 mins later we were still waiting and the reception staff weren’t busy but were reluctant to help; not sure why they couldn’t have retrieved our bags instead of watching us stand and wait.

The location was great, really easy to walk to Times Square and opposite the subway. Beds were really comfy and the decor & ambience of the downstairs communal areas was great.

We didn't know we had to pay a deposit of 100 euros per night. There was nowhere written and they let us know only on the day of the arrival. There's no bar in the lobby.

We loved the location. You are 5 minutes from Times Square but the area is not too crowded. You can also find metro lines that take you anywhere in the city. The room was big and nice-looking. The bed was comfortable.
