I can’t say I didn’t like anything.

The beach was just a few steps from the property, literally a pathway. The staff were beyond hospital, friendly and helpful. Food and drinks were great!

The resort was too large for our family, we prefer smaller resorts. Also, we paid for an ocean view room, but was given a first floor room, in the furthest building away from the ocean and our view was nothing but resort. We couldn’t see or hear the ocean from our room, just resort noise.

small rooms, when I booked the room I wasn’t told it would not fit my family and upon arrival had to pay to upgrade to a larger room. restaurant has no reservations and long wait.

The beds and bed linens weren't so good--sheets were really rough and the bed was too soft.

The location is excellent. The best beach access and the views are terrific. I stayed in the Moana building, which is really quiet (a bit far from main area by pools etc). Views over ocean are spectacular. We watched whales and dolphins from our balcony

Only 2 things...would have liked more food choices for in-room dining or even take out availability at resort restaurants for the couple nights when reservations were hard to get. And too many kids without appropriate parental supervision on our couples getaway

There needs to be a few upgrades done to the rooms. Some furniture was worn. Sheets were a bit rough. Had broken hooks in the bathroom, drying string thing in shower was broken. The grounds were nice from above view but close up, needed some attention. Weeks etc. food/drinks were astronomical. So expensive! We are lunch once, the first day there and it still has been the most expensive meal to date and we have been on the islands for 11 days now. Wish it was more affordable. We also had cockroaches in our room one night and urgently called front desk for help only for them to arrive almost 30 minutes later.

Location is the best. Love the snorkeling.

The cocktails were very expensive and watered down. We often made our own in the room and took them to the pool.

We booked late so had the ocean view suite. Very pricey but it was the nicest room we've ever stayed in on Maui.

We’d booked a room for 4 adults and 2 kids, but the pull out sofa is only the size of a twin bed so we were scrambling to make a bed for one of our kids. Plus there was no bedding for the pullout sofa. Theses rooms should only be rented to 3 people max.

Finding the fitness center is a scavenger hunt. Once you find the correct building and enter through the correct entrance then the signs will lead you there, but finding that first sign is a mystery. But once you find the fitness center it has everything you need.

The resort feel with the pool, beach, ocean, tiki torches and Polynesian architecture makes this resort stand out above the other resorts. Being able to quickly get from your room to the pool AND beach is great. In addition, the hotel is open air, with only certain parts like bedrooms, conf rooms, some restaurants, being climate controlled; so this added a very nice touch. The fact that this resort is at the end of the beach next to black rock cliffs is an added bonus.

Did not like the crinkly, hard sheets. Would like to know who designed the air conditioning vent to blow right on sleeping faces. We had to sleep the opposite side of the bed (head where feet should go). At least you can move the bed to opposite wall.

Beautiful resort, great location, nice staff, terrific buffet breakfast, nice walking paths, pretty ocean front room, the grab handle in shower was at a great angle for safety.
