The room upon entering was stuffy. The thermostat was essentially useless as I couldn't detect any flow of air, but I was able to open the window to let fresh air in the room.

I liked the bathroom soap/body wash/conditioner availability and stand up shower. Otherwise the room was clean and a great location to MTA. Also close to restaurants and stores.

I would not classify this as a 4 star hotel, it is closer to a 3 star, it's comfortable, but lacks 4 star amenities. The furnishings are a bit tired and need updating. No kettle or coffee maker in the room

Really liked the location and that we could store our luggage for the day before we could check in later. Our room was clean and comfortable and at the back of the hotel, so quieter than I believe those at the front on the street. Shower had good pressure and didn't have to wait long for hot water.

Didn't like that the junior suite did not have a mini-fridge or a microwave. Also, the room had two TVs but none of them were connected to the internet or could have streaming applications. The hotel corridor from the elevator to the room is really narrow.

The location is convenient with a lot of good restaurants around. The junior suite we stayed had a big bathroom. I liked that the hotel was able to hold our luggage after we checked out since our flight was later in the day.

Very, very noisy at night on the 7th floor from the traffic below. That can’t be helped but better windows would improve that.

There were constructions nearby and we could hear their noise the whole night which we didn’t appreciate while trying to sleep off jetlag. I advise staying on higher floors …

The rooms need major updating. The fabric headboard was stained, ripped, and pulling away from the frame. There was a large burn hole in the carpet in which you could see the concrete floor. The window shade was tattered, and the cheap chain to raise it was broken. It had been kind of fixed, so it only raised the blind about a third of the way up. We also heard the front desk staff laughing about how they had over booked a room and when the people arrived they wouldn't have a place to stay.

The location was fantastic. They held our luggage until check in for no fee.

The sink in the bathroom is minute with no shelf for toiletries. Also no towel bars at all. Only four hangers in the wardrobe. The lobby looks barren and unwelcoming. Thankfully the staff were the opposite. The view is miserable.

Size of the room and bed. Ease to get to the lobby from the 8th floor, because the hotel has only 10 floors. The location is excellent for midtown galleries and especially Carnegie Hall. The shower is exellent.

Toilet sometimes did not refill. We saw a cockroach running across the roomonce on the dirty carpet. The air conditioners outside of the building made constant noise day and night, which was very annoying.

Place was fine but try getting room away from the elevator. Our beds bordered the shaft and we could hear the thing going up and down all night.

There was no Wi-Fi at all (but this was not a problem for me). There was only cold water from the tap in the sink, hot and cold in the shower. It seemed to me that the staff was not very friendly, maybe sleepy.

I actually got a better room than I booked, it was a studio and had a massage chair! It was great to get a back massage after a long day! The room on the 9th floor had a good view, it was quiet and comfortable. It’s convenient that you can leave your luggage in the luggage room.
