Loved the property and they were overbooked so we got an upgrade that was a pleasant surprise the only thing was cobwebs and dusty on the upper part of the room but all in all it was a very pleasant stay

Older accommodations. Could use some updating like of beds, sheets (had a torn one that the staff exchanged, but everything seemed worn out.

Breakfast was awesome. Staff was very responsive. My kids enjoyed the pool, esp that you could swim under a wall to outside. Unfortunately the spa was out for repairs. That would have been nice. One night, my youngest son had an allergic reaction. I had no Benadryl and was traveling alone with two kids under 7. I went to the lobby area where they had some snacks and basic toiletries for sale. Unfortunately no meds like Benadryl, claritin, or even tylenol. I talked to the front desk attendant who was wonderful. She understood the urgency and concern and gave me a Claritin from her own supply. I was able to give it to my son and saved a trip at 4 am to the urgent care or pharmacy. She was so awesome for doing this for us.

The hot tub was closed due to reservations. Would have been nice to know in advance.

The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the coffee was very good. I made an online reservation mistake and the front desk agent made a change without any fuss to meet our needs.

Our bed was too soft which caused a backache, and the furnishings in the room were a bit worn.

We liked the fun little Loose Moose bar a great deal and appreciated how close the hotel was to Jonah's Seafood Restaurant. The room (Superior king with sofa) was spacious and comfortable.

The hotel allowed us to bring our two small dogs. They had free breakfast with our stay. We were able to meet with friends at the hotel in the bar/ eating area that was open rather late.The staff was great!

#1complaint is No overhead lighting in any of our rooms makes it hard to color, play games, read with family IN the rooms ;( There were items under the beds when we arrived so cleaners need to check under the beds as well or make blocking so things can not get under beds. The family room had zero soaps in the shower & the cost for the family room was abit much. For that cost we expected a larger fridge, a table & small kitchen sink to have room for snacks, fill water bottles and wash hands without interrupting peeps in the bathroom.

Having adjoining rooms is #1 then the pool, bar/food onsite, micro/fridge in rooms. Staff was friendly & location is good. The open area just above the front desk we used several times to play games, color & read as our rooms had ZERO overhead lighting ;(

Jacuzzi closed

We had the crows nest junior suite.. Very clean and the shower was huge... swimming pool is open but jacuzzi was closed up for repair. Breakfast was very good but no biscuits and gravy.

Beds are too small, not double queens, maybe double beds, but small for sleeping with another person. Small bathroom, just kind of small all around

The pool and spa were not up and running

Nice stressless bath products and friendly staff. Great location by lake and wonderful seafood restaurant next door even though it was s little pricey, food was excellent.

There was a banquet hall that hosted a homecoming dance so it was loud, over crowded and no place to park due to to many kids there. We should have been offered a discount. Also while there a college football team was there taking up the 1st and second floors. Again crowded)

Front desk clerks were very nice. Bartender, Frances was friendly, fun and he had a great attitude.
