Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

New ZealandThe only problem was that the couch bed was extremely uncomfortable for my 16 year old son. The actual beds were very comfortable, but he ended up making a makeshift bed out of cushions and blankets each night because the springs on the couch mattress dug into him, and were also noisy each time he shifted his weight.
The staff were friendly and helpful. It was great having a kitchen in the room. The facilities at the hotel were very useful during our stay.

BelgiumPrices in New York are high everywhere. The Beekman Tower is good value for money for NY but still very high. The nearest metro stop is'nt around the corner ( about 1km away)
We had a lot more room than expected. With 2 bedrooms and a good sofa bed and a kitchen we were every comfortable.. And the view from the 14th floor was spectacular.

I can attest that the apartments are strategically positioned, impeccably clean, and remarkably tranquil. The staff, with Alberto at the forefront, is superb and highly accommodating.

United States of AmericaHotel feels a bit dated, with smallish rooms and bathroom, even though labeled a suite (full kitchen but no sitting room other than the bedroom). But it suited my needs fine, and was a short walk to the UN where I was in conference.
Outstanding staff, ready to help with any need I had. Thank you! The location is ideal. Very comfortable bed. I would definitely stay here again whenever I need to visit the UN.

I like the location but mostly the services, professionalism and care provided by Mr Ayman. Two are colleagues were also very nice and helpful (unfortunately can’t remember names)! Mr Ayman made my stay special and very enjoyable by addressing some issues that were of concern to me.

United States of AmericaAfter I paid for the room a couple days later I looked and the prices had dropped by about 80 bucks .. Also the website says room service but there isn’t actually any room service .
I love that the room was spacious and comfortable. My husband and I only stayed one night for his birthday celebration, but it was quite nice

GermanyMy travel agent booked the hotel on my behalf on Booking.com but through their booking system. At the time of booking, Booking.com offered a free taxi service from the airport to the hotel if the hotel cost was more than EUR1000. The cost was more. However, because the booking was made through another booking system on Booking.com, Booking.com refused to provide a free taxi even though the booking is in my name, with my credit card and Booking.com sends me directly emails regarding my booking. Disappointing,

New ZealandThe staff were amazing and the late-night guard was hilarious. The location in Midtown East is nice and quiet with a river directly behind. Roosevelt Island Tram is less than 20 minute walk or a few stops on the m15 bus. The rooms were satisfactory and we loved having a kitchen to cook our meals. Supermarkets are within walking distance + the deli is just down stairs to the right of the hotel. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Solomon IslandsA cab was arranged by a staff member on a Sunday, and the price was was discussed between him and the cab service. When I was dropped, I was surprised and extremely dismayed when charged $65 for a trip which I paid only $39 on my return. My previous trips to the same destination have been $40. I felt cheated.

United KingdomThe heaters in the bedrooms were on the noisy side when on and we also had a problem with the fridge which was freezing things despite being on the lowest setting.
Great spacious well-equipped apartment. Staff were friendly and accommodating. There was a mid-week clean which was appreciated. There are gum facilities. 10 - 15 minute walk to the nearest subway. Walking distance to 5th avenue. Located close to the UN building.
