Everything was just fine! We would probably appreciated a bit darker curtains as the ones we had were quite transparent and didn’t allow us to sleep much (but that was not a bad thing as we woke up early and explored NYC!)

Great location (metro is just a couple of minutes walking), very clean and spacious room. Very comfortable bed! There are quite a few places to have breakfast, lunch or dinner. Harlem is super authentic, highly recommend visiting :) (Also close to some of most famous gospel churches)

Hosts were fantastic, could not have been more helpful with some great recommendations of where to eat and getting around. Apartment amenities were ideal for us and very easy to get to the subway. Huge amount of space - even more impressive as it is in NYC. Thanks so much for a great week.

Excellent apartment and the location is very good. Quiet but close to subway station, grocery store, restaurants, etc. Short ride with the subway to Manhattan, Times Square and other points of interest. The apartment was very clean and the hosts are great, always ready to assist if needed. Will surely stay again if I go back to New York.

Although the subway was very close, it was a local station, and the trains didn't stop there after a certain time at night (not too late, e.g. after 9 or 10pm), so you had to stop either at the previous or at the next stop and walk for 10-15 minutes.

There was no issues with the property. Getting the metro out to Harlem late at night felt seedy at times so worth bearing in mind, but that is more a city wide issue than the property.

The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and the street outside was quiet. The owner Mark was very friendly and helpful. There was signs of some light work done in the room just before my stay but this was explained by the owner and was to install a new air conditioning system that could be controlled within the room. The metro station was close to the property and always felt safe walking between them.

The stairs! Now it was a 4 flight walk up to my room. So don’t pack heavy because you will regret it. It was worth the walk.

Whilst the heating was good, I would prefer warmer blankets/duvets on the bed as I don’t really like the heating being on at night.

Wish they had better amenities. Five of us stayed for two nights and there were a tiny hotel size bottle of shampoo and a tiny soap. Same for coffee and creamer.. not enough for four adults and a teenager. Also found a vape previous guest left. Other than that, it was great.

As a family of four, we stayed in a two bedroom, ground floor apartment that also had a sofa bed. It had everything that was needed for our week long stay, microwave, oven/ cooker, toaster, coffee maker, full size fridge and freezer, dishwasher, cutlery, cups, dishes, reusable shopping bags, a hair dryer and so much more. It is a three minute walk to the subway which will take you anywhere in Manhattan easily. Our host Mark is super friendly and helpful and he made us feel very welcome. He brought us out for a walk to show us the nearest shop for supplies and the subway station. I highly recommend this wonderful property and I look forward to staying here again.

Recently stayed here and found several positives: the interior was tastefully done, facilities were convenient, the bed was comfortable, and the location was great for reaching Manhattan and NYC center for various activities. Mark was an exceptionally kind host.

We were there in November (10-15 celsjus) and the room used to get chilli. There is a fan heater which suffices for one-time heating when it’s plugged but it doesn’t help at nights, so in the morning it tends to get cold. A proper warmer duvet would also be nice :)

Great host, Mark and Dana! Very helpful and accommodating. The location is 5 minutes walk from the subway station B n C line that practically takes u to most of the attractions in NYC. Nice n quiet neighbourhood, away from the hustle bustle of times square. Highly recommended!
