Clean, spacious and great pools

I had a blast at this resort but there were a few things that made it a 7 instead of a 10. Both showers had a hole in the wall near the shower handle that seemed a bit creepy. My 10 year old son noticed it first and when I checked my shower it also had a hole. We ended up stuffing it with toilet paper. We got bit by horseflies while at the pool which made me break out with big itchy bumps on my skin. The swelling from the bite lasted about 4 days after initial bite. I'd suggest bringing bug spray or some form of insect repellent. I also did not like that we had to pay for the surf simulator. They advertise it as part of the Waterpark but charge $35 to get on. They also charged $25 per night for parking which if I'm staying at a place why do I have to pay for parking. There should be enough room for the guests to have their own parking included with the stay.

I absolutely had a blast at this resort. The suits were a great size. We had a 2 bedroom 2 bath. The balcony was big as well. The pools were big enough and were not crowded. The staff was friendly, shout out to Ted and Yerik, they were kind, friendly, and made our trip a little more memorable. The resort was not too strict with rules but were when they had to be. We were up on the 6th floor so we had to drive up to the 6th floor for parking but our room was right near the exit to the parking lot so it was convenient either way.

When you book through booking.com. water park fee is a mandatory extra fee, not free. Kitchen was poorly stocked, had to wash your own pool towels, dryer didnt work well - took hours to dry 3 pool towels.

The corridors are a little tired and could do with decorating. The market is also very expensive.

Love the space in the room, the view from the balcony and the facilities especially the pool. The staff were all very helpful and the hotel was great for what we needed.

The pools are not big enough to accommodate guests after the water park closes. The temperature of the lazy river seemed very warm and better cleanliness of the yard debris from the lazy river could be better. We stayed in the 3 bedroom condo in building 1K. Our kitchen had very minimal tools to cook with and the furniture seemed cheaply made.

The water park being on property was awesome, as well as, the arcade and miniature golf facility. The entrance and the lobby was an excellent presentation of the property. The scent was amazing in the lobby. The location of the property was great! Close enough to the parks but secluded at the same time. The parking decks were very nice and you didn’t feel like you would run into another car while driving through it. The water pressure was amazing!

This review is nothing bad, just my opinion of the things that I didn't like. Not everyone wants more information and adjectives like me, some people are not bothered by these things. The front desk didn't explain/inform us about anything other than where our room was and that it was a 3 minute walk to the main pool. Which was a huge understatement. The lack of, Hotel Maps and "arrows" made it extremely hard to get anywhere, even out of the building. And I'm really good with directions and don't get lost easily. We walked in many circles and never went the same way twice and we were there for 7 days. But the kids thought it was fun, we love puzzles and being challenged. I downloaded the Hotel App, hoping it would help with ALL the hotel info. It did not. I never found the correct food menus so we couldn't order from there. It had a map but it wasn't interactive. I tried booking a cabana but it was not very descriptive and the information was unclear so I went to find someone instead of using the app. This was NOT a cellphone/service issue, just a poor executed app.

The female security guard and guy outside (valet/concierge/manager, I'm not sure) were extremely nice and helpful. Rooms were big and clean and we were able to park close to the room. Getting luggage in and out was easy, no stairs, no elevators. Our dryer wasn't working (error code) and the vent was still clogged after cleaning the 2 front ones and we needed 2 more bath towels, so I texted the virtual assistant. So i was amazed when maintenence showed up within 3 minutes to fix the dryer and then I was given a bundle of towels (5+ towels). That was great and fast. The dryer still didn't work very well (error codes and just wouldn't dry clothes) but we didn't stay there for the dryer so it was fine. The freezer door was broke and needed to be replaced, but ice maker worked great. After 10pm, we never heard kids yelling or running down the halls, we didn't even hear anyone above or below us and that was the BEST part. We stayed off property (Disney All Star) this year for The D2 Summit cheer finals because of all the loud and running cheerleaders all through the night, no one can sleep. You can hear the conversations in the rooms next to your room in other hotels, but NOT here. We even had other cheerleaders next to our room and never heard them.

Even though the room was very spacious, there was a lot that I was missing and it took a bit longer than expected to get those items.

I really enjoyed having a pool view and amenities were awesome, there was much to do for the kids and my family. My kids really enjoyed themselves.

No directions/book about your stay in the room or on the app. No check out directions, or what to do with trash, or how often housekeeping came. (We did not get housekeeping during our 5 day stay but if we left out trash in the hall they would take it). No coffee maker in the room, asked for one and they said they didn’t have any. No potholders, had to use a bathroom towel when taking heated up food out of the oven. Also no baking sheet to heat up food on.

Beautiful grounds in a quiet area (no major traffic noise). It wasn’t crowded but had enough people so it didn’t feel off season either.

over prices drinks and charge for the surf pool and the lake activity. I think that the fishing poles at the lake should be free.
