The property was clean, which immediately made us feel comfortable and at home. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the necessary facilities, including basic essentials like salt, spices, and more, which was a thoughtful touch. As described in our reservation, the apartment had a private bathroom, ensuring our privacy and convenience throughout the stay. Communication with the host was smooth and efficient, making the check-in and check-out process hassle-free. The neighborhood itself was average for New York City, and we never felt unsafe during our stay. One of the biggest advantages of this apartment was its close proximity to the subway, Whole Foods, and other supermarkets, which made getting around and stocking up on groceries incredibly convenient.

Some small things could help such as a mirror, kettle to boil water. The futons in the living room could get really uncomfortable to sleep on.

You travel to NYC to see the town not to staying in your room, right? You have to share the bathroom (not idea with how many people) but it was always clean. Room was more like a bedsit, a comfy sofa bed, a TV, a desk table, small fridge, microwave, a toaster. Room temperature was good, not cold. Few minutes away from Line 2 and 3. WholeFood Market, Starbuck and many local eateries and coffee shop. The famous, Apollo Theatre is quite close too.

It was a little difficult to get the shower to function properly

The place is really cozy and comfortable, it was perfect for two people. Everything was very clean and tidy. There is a metro station only a few minutes walking away, and it will take you to Times Square in less than 30 minutes. The host is very helpful and they always replied really fast to our messages.

Bed a little bit small for my height (184sm). I prefer when lamp light is warm (not like at office light). It was very good if electric kettle was included.

Breakfast was not included, but near was many cafe and restaurants. Location very nice and 0.2 miles subway station and access to downtown from this station directly. No noise in house and street. Top Wi-Fi. Apartment was clean and cozy. There is kitchen room where you can cook. Apartment have a balcony/terrace with backyard view with furniture. You can take a blanket which is also included and relax.

Just a few simple things could make this accommodation so much better. They need to provide a hand towel for the bathroom and a dish towel in the kitchen to dry dishes with. They should put a towel rail on the wall by the shower to hang wet towels on. The shower are could do we a good clean - using an old toothbrush on the taps would easily get rid of the built up grime and the walls in the bathroom need a good wipe.

Excellent value for money for a reasonable size apartment in New York. Only 3 minutes walk to the subway, which made getting around very easy. We always felt safe in the location and there were restaurants and a supermarket nearby. The bed was very comfortable.

Would have liked a kettle to make tea in the morning but we managed with a saucepan.

Plenty of fresh linen and towels. It was clean and only a couple of blocks from the subway. It was good we had a codes to get into the building and the room so we didn't need to take a key out with us. The owner was very prompt with her replies and helpful.

The property was very small but perfect for our needs, the only hiccup was the passcode being incorrect and having to contact the owner who provided the correct code. This caused undue stress (particularly as it was very hot in the hallway!)
