To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United KingdomBalcony furniture could have done with a clean/tidy, but only a small thing, overall a lovely hotel. I found the F train subway slightly less regular than other lines.
Lovely bar and lounge area, super friendly and helpful staff and comfy bedroom. Bit of outside noise but I was in quite a low room, so if city noise bothers you then I’d go for room on a high floor. Had a balcony which was brilliant! Great area with lots of food/drink/entertainment offer but outside of the midtown tourist area. Five minutes from the subway.

HungaryHeating is horrendous, the air conditioning is louder that anything I have ever heard in my life. Unfortunately, as it has warmed the air only temporarily, like AC-s do, i had to use it almost all night. Room is indeed tiny, my stuff has been all over the place and it was just 1 person. No room for the suitcase, no wardrobe to put clothes in. In the mornings, the smell from the kitchen has infiltrated the room and the corridor. Bathroom did not look like the one on the picture, it was a slightly different room.
I particularly chose this room for the view and the great neighborhood, and hotel met my expectation there.I really liked the ambiance of the hotel overall.Room was very quiet, great soundproofing. Nespresso machine was a plus. Toiletries are of good quality. TV/screensharing worked perfectly.

Loved the urban style of the hotel, stylish, fashionable with an industrial edge. The room was perfect, with a comfortable bed and divine pillows. The bathroom was modern with a bath that could fit two and a perfect walk in shower. The staff were amazing and hats off to the housekeeping team who made the room up impeccably every day. I will definitely be back. Loved The Ludlow ❤️

NetherlandsToo much staff in the restaurant Dirty French, but it's not managed by the hotel. Nobody seems to know who is in charge of what. And as a result you don't know who to talk to. But food is great and the hotel as well so no big thing, just minor thing to improve.

The location was great and the room was very comfortable. There were plugs by each side of the bed, a nice seating area and the room was very quiet., The management also responded to our requests- ie, putting bubble bath in our room.
