Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe room smells bad, with short beds, my legs hanging off the bed))), with my 182cm tall, not a good breakfast, but is common for almost all American hotels, unfortunately...
Good place, nice staff, not bad furniture.

AustraliaOn the first day, the elevator was out of service, so I had to carry my bags up the stairs to my room. No view from my window (and also very dark inside the room) because of scaffolding outside. Breakfast choices were limited.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was well-furnished and the bed was comfortable. Great location to lots of sights downtown.

United KingdomI think the breakfast could be improved a bit.
How clean everything was, and although the furniture looks like antique in the pictures, is just the style, everything is either new or in excellent conditions.

IndonesiaUnfortunately, the elevator was broken when we stayed there so we need to use the stairs to carry our luggage.
The location was really good and easy to find, staff was very friendly and informative. The room was very clean and even prettier than what we saw in the photos. Breakfast was okay, the waffle-making experience was really entertaining.

United KingdomThere was scaffolding in the front of the property which made the room quite dark with little access to sunlight.
Location was spot on in the Financial district . Property was well maintained with period decor. Room was good size for New York and the shower worked well with hot water as needed. Breakfast was sufficient and of good stand with waffle maker. No fruits. Staff are attentive and polite.

The location is great, close to subway, and many tourist places. We found a parking spot right outside the hotel and as it was the weekend we didn’t have to pay anything. Staff was very friendly and kind. Spaces very clean and organized.

United KingdomMy sister thought the room smelt of "old feet" when we walked in but we got used to it. A few more drawers would have been handy as although there is a wardrobe set into the wall, it wasn't that big. It was a bit dark in our room but not sure if it was due to the scaffolding or the opposite tall buildings but it helped keep the room dark for sleeping. The bigger dining room looked a little untidy with chairs and other stuff piled into a corner by where we sat but apart from those little things, everything was good.
The bedrooms were large and had two queen beds with a desk inbetween and TV console which housed a mini fridge and drawers. It is an old building which is what I liked and we were on the 5th floor, room 503 and my brother in law and nephew were in 506, their room was very similar to ours in size. There was not much of a view as the building had scaffolding round it but that didn't bother us as we spent most of the time out and about. The staff were great, very helpful with regards to booking transport and any other questions. The breakfast was fairly good considering it is free, there were individually wrapped croissants and pain au chocolate, bread, yogurts, cereal and make your own waffles. The hotel is close to lots of bars and we found a loveli Deli and newly opened small supermarket selling hot and cold food round the corner. I also needed cold sore cream and a pharamcy was just round the block although I would advise taking your own cold sore cream as the prices were extortionate! The 9/11 memorial and Occulus were a 10 minte walk and the Governers Island Ferry terminal was 5 mins away. We were very pleased with the hotel and I would stay there again if I go back to New York. The beds were very comfy, I normally don't sleep very well as I have problems with my neck but the cushions were lovely and squishy and different sizes and the mattress was nice and firm with no sagging which happens a lot in hotels. The cleaning staff were also very nice and helpful especially when I had trouble with my room card, one of them called the desk to tell them to get me a new one.

Czech RepublicVentilation in the room was quite loud. But I got used to it after a long day out and fell asleep very well. Hotel is still under construction so the room is quite dark becouse of the scaffolding but no workers were present during our stay so no noise was coming.
Amazing location, room was big enough, comfortable big bed, basic breakfast was included. They cleaned our room every day. Staff was helpful and nice. We enjoyed our stay very much.

IrelandHotel is a bit dated, and definitely needs and upgrade on the furnishings and toilets. Had scaffolding all across the front (nothing said about construction going on when booking) which completely blocked any light to come inside the room.

From the time I entered the hotel I felt welcomed. The ability to drop off your bag until check in helps as you can do other things until check in time. The check in process was easy. The room was cosy and had everything we needed. It is located near to eating places and subways. The wi-fi was good for what I needed it for which was to keep in touch with my family. The hotel was clean in general and housekeeping was very efficient.
