Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

NamibiaThe noise of the clubs nearby (at night). The sliding gate of the building opposite is quite annoying. Owner to make recommendation that the owner of building opposite should modify the gate to.open smooth and without such noise....

NamibiaOur TV wasn't working for the duration of our stay and in addition to that the team didn't fix our TV. Due to the clubs in the surrounding area we endured extreme noise everyday, but that is obviously beyond the control of the Hotel, but the overall stay and place was good.
The place was located in a prime area and the place looked great in addition to that the rooms were spacious.

United KingdomWhen we booked the room the facilities listed included a fridge and a safe which were not present in the room. Also there was no lift but the guy on reception carried our bags up for us.
The location was very good, staff were very helpful and friendly and the room was comfortable. The cafe downstairs was good and also showed sports which was good.

DenmarkInnscape is a 3 star facility in CPT CBD, approx 30 mins drive from CPT Airport. Not your usual hotel, its a place with a style of its own, the raw NYC loft type of style. Either you like it or not. I loved it. Its an old quirky building with a noisy elevator, dripping from pipes etc. single glased windows which will not keep out weather or street noises as Long Street is just around the corner. You need to bring your earplugs when you choose to stay in the CBD. I stayed in the penthouse (503) which is indeed a huge room, with a comfy bed (can I suggest some lights by the bed?), telly, aircon, fridge, kettle & microwawe. The big balcony was a HUGE plus for me. Some days you will be provided with coffee, sugar & creamer and a bottle of water. Wifi is wobbly and you need to log in often. Bathroom small and very dark, showercubicle good size, weak waterpressure and it takes some time for the water to flush out- remember you are in an old building. What I will point out is that bathroom & room needs a good cleaning. I did not include breakfast but I had quite some sandwitches, coffes and juices in the cafe which fits the style of the hotel, open until 3pm. Reception is staffed 24/7 and I am sure you can get cold drinks there after 3PM if needed. I want to thank ALL staff at the hotel for making me feel welcome, I did not meet anything else than kindness, smiles & helpfullness. I would stay again

South AfricaThe reception staff had an attitude when I called him to come and show me if the door room with the entry card was safe at night. I was not sure if it could be opened from the outside with spare entry card. The old lift was scary. The room had a smell, and the curtains were not washed in a while. But overall not a bad stay..
The Room was clean and comfortable. The location was very central, and I could walk or catch an Uber to where I wanted to go to. The mini fridge was nice to put in drinks and snacks

South AfricaThe shower was like blocked or something like that. Water took time to go down the drain and it was useless to put on flops. The bed mattresses were not comfortable, could feel as if they just put the sheet on top of the strings. We don't get the key for the main entrance of the hotel, so we were struggling when we come back late at night we had to wait outside waiting for miracle to happen, the receptionist was upstairs and there was no one to help until he came downstairs that's when he opened for us.
The bedding sheets were clean and changed daily with clean towels. The place it's un the heart of Cape Town thus very close to most attractions. ie could walk to waterfront, colored houses, district 6 museum, taxis, busses, trains and many different shopping centers and malls. Located at long street thus very safe to walk even at the middle of the night. The staff were friendly and even let us check in before time and also kept our bags when we checked out as our flight was leaving late in the afternoon. Breakfast very affordable and enough to keep you the whole day. MOST IMPORTANTLY, THERE IS NO NOISE IN THE HOTEL AS IF WE WERE IN OUR OWN HOUSE WITHOUT NEIGHBORS
