Everything was near to perfect. There is a designated carpark for guests on the property but the birds are very active overnight- might need a bucket of water to clean bird droppings off car before leaving for the day.

The location was perfect for our holiday. Was close to family, supermarket, sporting grounds and very accessible to places of interest. The setting for the Magnolia Cottage is at the back end of our host's property and easy access through a locked gate. Our host was super accomodating and understanding, communication was quick and efficient. Magnolia cottage is well equipped and had everything to make our stay very comfortable.

Magnolia Cottage is an exceptional property. It is very spacious, beautifully decorated and very well equipped with everything you could possibly need for a great stay. We really appreciated the spacious kitchen and full-sized fridge, as well as the upstairs bathroom & downstairs powder room. The cottage is located in the garden of the owner's home, but still retains a separate entrance and was very private, with access to a lovely pool right outside the front door of the cottage. We had our own off-street parking and the garden & property were very secure. The cottage was serviced every day, and we really appreciated the opportunity to have some laundry done. A really wonderful stay, we will definitely stay again when next in Cape Town.

There was nothing to dislike - Magnolia Cottage is perfect.

Magnolia Cottage is one of the best places we have ever stayed. The apartment is incredibly comfortable and has absolutely everything you could possibly want in a short stay accomodation including fantastic kitchen, wood burner, barbeque, swimming pool and smart TV. Our only regret is that we only stayed two nights - we could easily have stayed much longer.

We liked everything - nothing to criticise.

A beautiful cottage,with all the modern facilities needed for a couple on holiday, with lovely furnishings throughout. The cottage has its own swimming pool, BBQ and patio, with seating in a lovely garden Brigitte is a lovely host who could not have been more helpful. Also, the most comfortable bed we have experienced on this 3 week holiday to South Africa. Excellent power backups (in the event of power cuts due to load shedding) for essential items such as Internet and TV with streaming apps, Netflix, DSTV for sports, movies, etc, so no evening is ruined if you decide to stay in and watch TV. We found this comprehensive protection from power outages quite unique as many other properties do not offer this. A dedicated off-road car parking space is also available and easy commuting around the Cape Town area and close access to N2 motorway and Airport. Close access to shops and restaurants. We will stay again on our next visit to the Cape Town area.

There was nothing not to like about the cottage. The one regret I have is that I did not make use of the sparkling pool in front of the apartment.

Magnolia Cottage is exactly what I expected from the pictures. It was spacious, with a well-kitted out kitchen and exceptional bathroom. Though the property is next to a main road, you can hardly hear noise from the street, likely due to the trees on the property boundary. It is central, yet maintains an air of quiet around it. The nearby Palmyra shopping centre has an excellent Woolworths Food store for all your needs, as well as a few other places that are great for breakfast and so forth. Prior to arrival, instructions were sent via WhatsApp with clear directions. Brigitte was there to meet me with the keys on arrival, and to give me a mini-tour. The apartment was well-serviced daily. There are a few lights provided to use during South Africa's infamous rolling blackouts, with a mini inverter/battery to power the TV. The kitchen has a gas stove that is not reliant on electricity. All-in-all, an amazing stay!

Magnolia cottage is modern with exquisite finishes. The kitchen is very well equipped. It has everything one needs - aircon, pool, Netflix and a comfy bed. The location is great - walking distance to the gym and Woolworths; very central for exploring Cape Town. Hosts ate warm and friendly wilst being respectful of privacy. The unit is serviced daily.

It’s an amazing self contained cottage with excellent facilities and the best appliances . It’s cozy yet spacious , it’s safe and really comfortable . We absolutely loved our stay . The hosts are amazing - nothing too difficult for them and it was an all round wonderful experience .

If you don't like anything in this cottage, you are the problem. Its perfect. Yes, as a tall person I had to watch my head going up stairs, but thats nothing major. I am going back there again, definitely

I liked that the host is very responsive and friendly. The staff member is very helpful and friendly too. I liked that I had a fireplace. The room is spacious, but also cozy. Am definitely going back there. I see myself working remotely whilst staying there. The finishings are top class. I will return soon before the end of the year :-)

I loved the magnolia cottage! The host immeditaly got in contact with me after booking this cottage and she event let us drop our lugagge at the main house because our check in was later. She was very helpfull during the whole week and always was informing me that she was there when we needed help. The bed was incredibly comfortable, we has fresh filtered water everyday. Fresh towels, cleaned bed and even our dishes were cleaned off. Huge pool! Huge garden! Great space. Loved it and definitely will come back whenever i‘m in Cape Town again.
