Our room had an amazing view of the mountains from the balcony and was very spacious. It is very close to Obersalzberg and there is also a bus stop around the corner that brings one to Berchtesgaden. There are also plenty of parking spaces around the property.

Bertchesgaden is just beautiful.
Bertchesgaden is just beautiful. There is so much to see and do. The Eagles Nest and Lake Konigssee were just spectacular. Public transport links are amazing and not too tricky to navigate. Hospitality in the area is fantastic, too. We will most definitely be returning.

So beautiful.
So beautiful. We go every year and always discover something new, be it a new walk or restaurant. Never get bored of the beauty and atmosphere. It is so easy to get around using the free bus transport with the Gästekarte. Nothing to avoid. All wonderful. Especially stunning this time of year with the Christmas market. Easy to visit Salzburg by bus or train too. Recommend visit to Bad Reichenhall too.

We visited Eagles nest.
We visited Eagles nest. Because the weather was misty, there was no five-star experience.
because the return bus service you must book for concretely time then we had much more time on top of the hill than we need it, but opposite was very instructive visit Naci’s museum close to the lower bus base.
Traditional Bavarian style in a great location. They were not too busy, so they upgraded (at no extra charge) to a room with a nice balcony and a perfect view of the valley and the snow covered mountains. There are a few restaurants nearby (don't go to the Greek restaurant across the street from the hotel. It is horrible). Hotel breakfast was formidable with a host who showed passion and pride in what he was doing. A great place to stay, and a great place to start a new day on our journey across the Alps.
The hotel staff is very helpful and delightful. They worked with my (not to good) German and spoke English happily to help me get things done. The basement restaurant was a lot of fun -- great service, good food and very generous portions. The room itself was spacious (2 room suite) with excellent amenities and views. We had more than enough room (my teenage son and I) and it definitely was a great way to experience Berchtesgaden.
After staying in several different hotels around Germany we found our favourite! The owners are extremely serviceminded, and the breakfast was amazing. The couple takes good care of their guests. The wife helped us with information regarding things to do around the area, and the husband made us some lovely breakfast bags for our journey (since we had to leave early on our departure day). Recommend strongly! 🌞
Location is great (if you have a car), close to Berchtesgaden and the Eagles Nest but away from where the majority of tourists stay. There is a fantastic restaurant next door to the hotel. I'd recommend making a reservation. Staff are friendly and helpful, free parking available, room was clean and a good size and the place was clean throughout. Depending on what side you are on the views are fantastic!
The hotel is situated very conveniently in the middle of Berchtesgaden, it's easy to get around by foot or park your own car near the hotel for free. Rooms are set up in Alpen style, breakfasts are super tasty with many options. Also, the looks from the window and dining room are unique. The staff and hotel owners are great and very helpful people.
We loved the staff, they were super helpful when we were in a bind. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. The hotel is recently renovated and GORGEOUS. There’s a wellness cave with a sauna, spa chairs, fruit water. Breakfast is great and it’s within walking distance of the salt mines!
Great location right in the downtown part of the town. Had laundry facility right next to hotel, which was very convenient for travelers. Short walk to numerous restaurants and a lovely gelato shop about 20 meters away. Excellent breakfast.
One of the friendliest hosts I ever met. Pretty new and Spacious appartment with all facilities. Close (3 minutes walk) to Berchtesgaden central station (bus and train), hence greater connectivity to all attractions.
Fantastic location and beautiful looking accommodation, the hotel was well presented, very clean and had a nicely set out pool/spa area.
A good selection of continental breakfast and pleasant staff.
A small hotel with charm easy to reach from the train station. clean and comfortable bedroom and sitting room. We especially like the balcony with the mountain view. The owner is very nice.
